The BlackBerry was formerly a strict business emailing device at one point in time and obviously just didn’t fall into the hands of every day consumers with basic wants and needs. The device’s popularity spreads across the world favoring anyone who has the rights to an email address or just wants to stay “connected.”  It also could of spread to social networking addicts who prefer to be notified live when comments and messages are sent on their MySpace or Facebook.  So how do people get started on the BlackBerry?  Did you receive one at your job and crave one personally?  Did your friend hand you your first device and influence you into blogging about them? Or perhaps you had a PDA previously rockin’ Windows Mobile or an iPhone and gave BlackBerry a shot.  We want to hear your stories!  Drop us a comment and tell what influenced you all into getting a BlackBerry!

i got my first blackberry when my LG slider broke, so i took my father's old 8700g. From there i just loved the thing and later moved on to the curve then switched carriers and got the tour a few months ago. i use my blackberry for everything including facebook, calendar, school schedule, even editing documents for class from time to time.
