Starting November 14th, Wal-mart is offering a $100 gift card to customers who purchase a BlackBerry through the store.  Currently being offered online is the BlackBerry Bold 9000 for AT&T, Curve 8900 for T-Mobile, and BlackBerry Storm for Verizon.  In store devices will vary.  As mentioned before, the offer starts November 14th, and will go on for one week exactly.  So if you’re in the market for a BlackBerry, make sure you grab one at Wal-Mart today.

It looks like the BlackBerry Curve 8900 followed the Bold 9000 in its 5.0.0.348 OS update.  Of course it is also leaked so install at your own risk.  This is only for the 8900 series Curve and does not work for any other ones.  It’s a Rapid Share link so make sure you download it while the link is still live.  If you do decide to download and install, let us know about any changes you see.  Enjoy.

The BlackBerry Bold 9000 just got a new leak bringing it up to OS 5.0.0.348.  There is no log as to what this build fixes and adds but if you do decide to try it out let us know.  Of course this is not an official update, so install it at your own risk.

Profiler Pro is an application that lets you automate system sound profile switching during the day. You can schedule profiles each day to change from one profile to another. Each profile you set the time to switch the days which the profile will be active eg: Monday to Friday. Optionally if you have BlackBerry OS 4.7 and higher you can set to change a new Wallpaper on the HomeScreen and change a ringtone.

Profiler Pro also integrates with the BlackBerry Calendar application. You can schedule a profile switch by creating a new appointment. The profile will automatically switch when the appointment starts and ends.  If you are AddOnis user Profiler Pro can bring AddOnis out of standby mode if this feature is enabled in AddOnis.

• Note: Profiler Pro can not switch profile when the device is in the Holster, keyboard locked on OS4.6 and password locked.

Take advantage of every second with the new BlackBerry Curve 8530.  That’s RIM’s motto for the device on the homepage.  Catchy or appealing to you? Not the slightest bit.  We enjoy the “make a Bold statement” and “live to be bold” more than this one!  RIM has taken down the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and put the Curve2 8530 which is coming to Verizon store near you.  Who’s in for the device?
