PictureID is the ultimate full screen picture callerID and callerID blocking manager application for the BlackBerry. With full screen picture caller ID you can easily identify the caller. Assign different picture ID for different contacts. You can also assign a custom picture for caller’s who do not have caller ID information or blocked callers.
Use PictureID to block unwanted calls. For repeat offenders you can use Pickup and Hangup feature to answer and then hangup the call. This prevents the caller from leaving you a voicemail. The caller would just hear a busying signal or the operator message.

Carrier News »

The 22nd of November isn’t exactly tomorrow, but in standard procedures carrier retail stores tend to hold soon-released devices ahead of time in their stock rooms. Just yesterday we saw the BlackBerry Bold 9700 release officially for T-Mobile in all retail store locations and AT&T silently released it to business premier users while the rest would have to wait til the 22nd. AT&T retail stores just got their BlackBerry Bold 9700 devices in stock today. Just like last year with the Bold 9000 launch, the majority of stores were only given averagely 10-14 devices, while of course some stores may vary.

The answer is the 9700. The back cover has clearly been improved from the previous 9000 model. Sure, many prefer the full leather back rather than the new one which is about 80 percent leather with plastic all around the trim. Beyond that, the actual design of the back cover for the new 9700 is a lot better as it slides into the phone rather than clips like the 9000 one does. Who had issues with loose battery doors? I know for a fact many Bold 9000 users had this problem, in addition to Tour users even which have a completely different design. The Bold 9700 back cover is very secure because it slides right in, and doesn’t have the chance to shift left and right.
