trackpaddiagramIt’s funny that I come across something like this today, as yesterday I was going crazy with a malfunctioning trackpad that was jumping as it pleased.  There was no real solution to it, but it did stop happening on its own.  Today Kyle from BlackBerry Cool found an article in the official BlackBerry Blogs talking about how the trackpad actually works.  One of the engineers states that you should “think of your standard red-light mouse except your finger is the desk, and you’re moving the desk.”  If you’re interested in reading on how it works, check out the full BlackBerry blog article.
