Ever had BlackBerry candy? Before you all get excited, we’re here to disappoint in letting you know that the SweetBerry has no affiliation with Research in Motion, but is targeted for the younger ones who cannot have a BlackBerry just yet.  So what exactly is the SweetBerry? It’s a QWERTY BlackBerry looking device stiff buttons, all except the space bar which reads “ringer” and the capital “aA” button which shows musical notes on them instead.  When pressing any of those three buttons, a different ringtone will play.  Little sugar candies are dispensed in the back where the battery should be.

Some things I noticed was that this displays a 3G indicator on the upper left hand corner on the screen and also is rockin’ the Precision stock theme.  What did I hate? Why does it only display 5 icons and not 6 on the home screen? Also, we would of loved to see a BBM icon, but I guess that would of been much of a lawsuit.  With that being said, it explains why the Bluetooth indicator on the screen looks a bit different.  An interesting concept we see is that there is no trackball, trackpad, or track wheel on the site.  Perhaps it is touch screen with QWERTY… indications of the BlackBerry Magnum?

Well we had to share with you the SweetBerry as it was fun to mess around with and was very comical in my opnion.  You can grab your own SweetBerry at any local store for a few dollars with no contract necessary.
