For those of you who are following me on Twitter (@mjadalhack), then you know that I had taken a break from TweetGenius in the meantime, and went over to UberTwitter for a few months. Earlier this afternoon, I tweeted that I was switching from UberTwitter to Seesmic for my personal account for a bit. Of course in the past we all tried Seesmic for BlackBerry, but today is my first day making real use of the app, as it is now full time. Seesmic for BlackBerry just made its way to the BlackBerry App World today, expanding itself to folks all over the world who need to tweet via BlackBerry. Recently the application went through some nice updates, making it more realistic to download and switch to. Continue reading to view the full change log:

We got the word the UPS will be launching their mobile application tomorrow as promised. As other blogs have confirmed that the information is correct, we’re pretty excited to see its attributes. Of course, not everyone will be using this app full time, but for those who currently hold UPS accounts, it’ll be very convenient when it comes to tracking and handling packages. So the website is all set up for the application, but the green light isn’t up yet. From the looks of it, the UPS app will be available free at the BlackBerry App World.

We got the email this morning from Shortcovers and were pleased to see a whole new application come out of the hat. If you try going to ShortCovers.com, you’ll see that it’ll redirect you to KoboBooks.com. So what’s new in the app? You’ll now have a better interface and overall look to the app for starters. New options have been added including being able to browse specifically by category or genre. In addition, Kobo has over 1.8 million free eBooks, which we didn’t see pushed so much in the older Shortcovers app. You can easily see New York Times Bestsellers as well as award winning books and much more. We have all the OTA download links for your below. Download the application absolutely free today. If you had Shortcovers before, you might want to delete it first as Kobo will not take its place and just create a whole new app for itself in your BlackBerry.

Back in October when the BlackBerry Storm2 9550 made its launch with Verizon Wireless, we told you we were going to hold on to the device for sometime, and let you know about the fullest experiences. Many of you were scared to get any where close to the Storm 2 as you were dreaded from your previous experience with the 4.7 OS Storm 9530. Well I manned up and put my foot to the plate on this one as I had to find out what was to be of the recent released BlackBerry Storm 2 9550. So as mentioned before, we did some test runs on the device. Of course do not go through the same testing strategies as we do not want to take any responsibility in potential dangers you may face! Continue reading to check out the random adventures we took with the BlackBerry Storm 2 9550.

Don’t you hate that your BlackBerry can’t vibrate and ring at the same time by default? Many other cell phones do. The BlackBerry just seems to have that missing link. So what do you do? Here’s a great option. This app called VibAndRing allows your BlackBerry to do just that, vibrate and ring at the same time. But that’s not all. There’s quite a few options tagged along with it. With the latest version 1.2 of the app, you can set bursts lower than 500ms, have settings for a short ringtone, predefine vibration settings, and easily launch Profiles from VibAndRing which can be really convenient. VibAndRing is on sale today for only $1.47, so there is no legitimate reason you wouldn’t purchase it.
