The SoAnnoying App is a tool for you to get annoyed while on the train, dog walking, painting the town, at restaurants, on lines, or anywhere you wanna snap a pic, describe it, and let it out to the world. The So Annoying Application allows you to create and send your posting for approval of the publication to be featured on the main site.

Sadly, Nav4All has taken a step down and will no longer be available within three days. Last night I got an email on my personal Gmail account as I did give this app a try back in the day. For those who don’t know, Nav4All is a basic free GPS navigation app that’s been around supporting BlackBerry for years. I can recall using it on my BlackBerry Pearl 8100 with a Bluetooth GPS unit. Basically what happened was that Nav4All had a data license agreement with Navteq which is primarily a Nokia subsidiary and that license was not extended in a “totally unexpected manner.” So what do you do now for your GPS? If you were relying on Nav4All before, there are other alternatives. Not to be pushing premium applications here, but TeleNav and Garmin are by far the best GPS applications I have ever used on BlackBerry. As for free ones, you should definitely check out Amaze GPS as their services are still free up until now. Continue reading to check out the full email letter from the folks over at Navteq.

This is a leaked OS so download and install at your own risk. If you decide to, let us know if you see any changes.

It’s unbelievable that the first day of this BlackBerry Music Experience Webinar occurred yesterday and none of us were aware! After getting the tip about the Trackball Replacement Program, we were told about this webinar occurring both yesterday and today on BlackBerry music experience. The webinar isn’t a huge deal, but from what it looks like, RIM is pushing its carriers that provide the BlackBerry (T-Mobile in this case) to be further educated on multimedia experiences for the device which results in getting customers into the Berry addiction. In this webinar, T-Mobile employees will get hands on with streaming, audio apps such as Pandora, Slacker, and iTunes music syncing.

Trackballs are so last season. That’s what I say as a Bold 9700 and Curve 8530 user, not to rub it in. So you have a Pearl 81xx, Curve 83xx, or 88xx BlackBerry. Those all come with trackballs and we all know that a trackball’s lifetime is short. T-Mobile is starting a TrackBall Replacement Program to their BlackBerry subscribers who have specific trackball models. This offer hasn’t started yet as we confirmed with two T-Mobile retail locations. Details have not been put out yet, but BlackBerry Blast claims that this is only for the Pearl 8100/8120 and Curve 8320 not indicating if it has started or not. If you’re local T-Mobile store is in with the program now, drop us a line as for right now we’re keeping it as “coming soon” due to our sources who claim so.
UPDATE: We got the confirmed word from BlackBerry T-Mobile reps:
Beginning February 15, BlackBerry Pearl 8100/8120 and BlackBerry Curve 8320 customers that are having trackball issues will have the option to visit a T-Mobile retail store and have their trackball replaced for free.
Requirements of Customer Service Reps
Prior to sending customers to a retail store for a trackball replacement, Customer Service reps will be required to confirm customers are using a BlackBerry Pearl 8100/8120 or BlackBerry Curve 8320 device and use the Keypad / Buttons troubleshooting flow to validate the trackball issue
The Trackball Replacement Program policy will provide key details of the program and steps that will be required to support the program such as:
Scanning the SKU:
- Information to provide customers prior to the trackball replacement
- How to complete the trackball replacement
- What to do if the device is damaged while completing the replacement
Training:
Training for Retail Sales Associates (RSAs) will take place from February 1 to February 15. A BlackBerry Trackball Replacement job aid and training video will be posted on SOLD by February 1. The job aid and training video will show RSAs how to remove defective trackballs and insert the replacement.

It looks like PureMobile is doing it again and has the BlackBerry Tour 9650 listed to be coming soon for sale as an unlocked device. We showed you in the past when PureMobile put up the BlackBerry Pearl 9100, but it looks like it still says “coming soon” for that also. Any way, pricing is not up at all as it says coming soon, and it they will be shipped out brand spankin’ new as PureMobile promises. As a Verizon or non-Verizon BlackBerry user, would you consider purchasing an unlocked BlackBerry Tour 2 9650?
