Local Car Wash puts out sign with 2D Barcode and Google Maps

Here’s a great way to promote your business. How about when your on stand by at the car wash while your car is getting cleaned? Use your 2D barcode scanning capabilities and save this location to your BlackBerry. In the image above, a local car wash close to our facility in New Jersey had this huge sign displayed where it says “We’re a favorite place on Google,” marking a spot on the map and displaying a 2d barcode in the lower right hand corner. Seeing things like this makes me wonder if business cards will be exchanged any more, or are we just going to put Berry cameras to screens to obtain information in seconds.
