Here’s a great way to promote your business.  How about when your on stand by at the car wash while your car is getting cleaned? Use your 2D barcode scanning capabilities and save this location to your BlackBerry.  In the image above, a local car wash close to our facility in New Jersey had this huge sign displayed where it says “We’re a favorite place on Google,” marking a spot on the map and displaying a 2d barcode in the lower right hand corner.  Seeing things like this makes me wonder if business cards will be exchanged any more, or are we just going to put Berry cameras to screens to obtain information in seconds.  Special thanks to Swiss for sending this in!

Fyi, if you guys were curious as to what the barcode revealed, click here.

This is very interesting! A great way to promote a car wash business where most of the clients do traveling most of the time. I think I have to try this in our place and see what happens. This is cool and should be tried out.

Nice application. Business owners should take advantage of today’s technology and always think out of the box. Considering the number of competitors around the area, it’s definitely a plus to be able to think of ways to encourage people to try out their services. This is really unique, to be honest.
