BlackBerry Messenger Haiti Donation Spam 2.0

It’s still going on.  Just yesterday we posted about the same Haiti spam situation on BBM, but it looks like a new one has started circulating. This time the bored folks who started tried adding some authenticity to it by putting in an alleged “red cross.” So if you don’t put the cross, RIM won’t be able to track the message, says the spam.  The first attempt failed as every online publication blew it up and claimed it as fake.  So here’s another failed attempt which is now officially marked fraudulent.  Just another reminder that these are not real, and RIM cannot track these forwards to donate per message.  Stay spam free and find better ways to contribute to the cause in Haiti.
