Just a few days ago we saw the BlackBerry Tour 2 9650 appear in Verizon Wireless inventories. It looks like Sprint will once again join Verizon and getting the Tour 2 as well and at the same time. Prices are still not yet released, but seeing the original 9630 Tour go down in price could mean that the new Tour 2 will take its place. Who’s ready to upgrade to the Tour 2 for Verizon or even Sprint?

Looking to keep your BlackBerry naked but protected? You’ve seen the ZAGG Invisible Shield alright, but haven’t had a touch of Case-Mate’s latest Clear Armor which we saw as the “Go Bare” at CES 2010 last week. We weren’t expecting these to launch this fast, but they have just appeared in the PocketBerry Store. From what it looks like, it’s very heavy duty material, coming from military helicopter blade layers.
Each Clear Armor kit includes:
- 2 sets of Clear Armor
- Microfiber cleaning cloth
- Bottle of application solution
- Applicator card
- Application instructions
The Case-Mate Clear Armor goes for only $17.95 for 2 sets. Great deal, and better than any other you’ll get anywhere else.

Another goody at the Consumer Electronic Show this year was Xobni for BlackBerry. We’ve been following Xobni (inbox spelled backwards) for quite a few months now, and we were definitely excited to see this hands on experience. Back in May, we had some leaked out screenshots of the Xobni for BlackBerry which kept us on the edge up until now. Even before that, Xobni was such a huge deal as many online publications considered its availability on the BlackBerry would tear the iPhone down as an emailing device period. Xobni is the number one solution to having all your Microsoft Outlook contacts accesible via BlackBerry and sorted by relevance. It goes beyond A-Z address books with phone numbers and addresses as each contact gets an actual profile with a bunch of social networking options embedded to work with popular ones such as Twitter and Facebook.

Special thanks to Karen for sending this in! We see it all over Twitter every day. Those folks tweeting from the FourSquare API and we’re all wondering what is this FourSquare? So it is currently under a closed beta, but a link has just released now out in open. Meaning yes, you all can get in on FourSquare today, as long as the link stays live. So FourSquare is out for all of you to sign up with instantly, but from what we understood the application is not officially available now. Generally, FourSquare is a social networking app that uses your GPS location to communicate with others about places you go to and have been. Still confused? Head over to FourSquare‘s website to get more information about their services. So without further interuptions, point your BlackBerry Browser to http://bit.ly/4square0980 or use the link below to download OTA.

Another fascinating theme we came across this weekend was the Super Marion Bros Theme. Unfortunately it is only for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 now, but I’m sure the theme builders will expand to other devices by popularity. Any way this theme is based of the hit game Super Mario Bros. that we all loved and enjoyed on the Nintendo platform and still is somewhere now in video gaming (the Wii last I heard). All the screens, icons, and indicators are customized from the video game itself. So how much is this theme? Grab your copy today for only $2.99 until January 31st where it will get bumped back up to $6.99. Hit the jump for full features and more screenshots.

It’s another day, and we’re still amused by Elecite’s talent in theme building. The Ace Theme is very unique one where it gives you the app card effect as you can see. If you’re still confused, be sure to check out the video. So besides the application card slides that go back and forth like your iTunes, you have a custom tab where you can put your top used apps there, profiles, weather, Facebook, and clock. Ace Theme goes for only $6.99. Hit the jump to check out the full video demo.
