Last week, the famous iPhone game maker IUGO just released Zombie Attack and Cliffed for BlackBerry, which are two incredible games.  With that said, we’re excited to hear that they are releasing another game again called ESCAPE.

In the game ESCAPE, you’ll zone out on limitless Zen puzzles with ESCAPE. Jump the little guy from stone to stone to eliminate all and solve the puzzle. Escape features:

Feature:

  • Endless levels and gameplay
  • 2 additional unlockable difficulty modes introduced through DLC (iPhone only)
  • Simple controls for all ages
  • Minimalist graphics for maximum appeal
  • Unique cerebral game play complimented by relaxing audio and visual effects
  • Surprisingly addictive!

The game isn’t set to launch just yet as it’s going to release shortly for the iPhone first, then later for the BlackBerry.  Stay tuned for more release info.  In the meantime, I would definitely check out Zombie Attack and Cliffed as they are incredible games and by far the best games I’ve played on BlackBerry yet. Hit the jump to check out more screenshots of ESCAPE for BlackBerry.

We’re so overwhelmed by the tremendous amounts of Twitter applications available for BlackBerry.  A new one going by the name of Tvider hits the market for free, being more of a multimedia app rather than standard tweeting.  Tvider allows you to send and share videos, pictures, and audio on Twitter within their handy dandy application which I am very fond of so far.

Features:

  • Support for all 3 types of media – VIDEO, AUDIO, PICTURE.
  • Tools to instantly generate media using webcam and mobile camera.
  • Option to publish a pre-recorded media tweet from your HDD or mobile SD Card memory.
  • Instant Micro Media Tweeting experience designed by limiting the media length to 60s in case of video and audio.
  • Reply and Re-Tweet the media Tweets in your timeline.

Compatibility: Tour – 9630, Bold – 9000, Curve – 8900, Curve – 8520, Pearl Flip – 8200, 8220, 8230, 8800, 8820,8830, Curve – 8300, 8310, 8320, 8330, Pearl – 8100, 8110, 8120, 8130

Tvider is absolutely free to download, so give it a test run today and let us know how you like it.  Point your BlackBerry Browser to tvider.com/u/mobile or use the link below to get it today.  Special thanks to Richard C. for sending this one in.

Looking for other ways to lock your BlackBerry? Storm Unlock is pretty cool as it lets you unlock it by drawing a given pattern you designate ahead of time in the app settings.  Storm Unlock is absolutely free to download from the PocketBerry Store and is very light on your BlackBerry.  It’s good to go for both the Storm 1 and 2.

Features:

  • 1. Totally free.
  • 2. Easy to use.
  • 3. Auto-launches when background lights dims.

Another theme unleashes from the folks over at Elecite.  This one’s called Keen and gives you 6-8 customizable photo icons, a weather slot, and 4-5 quick access icons along with a quick preview Today area.  You can easily free up the background by clicking the close button, which will keep everything open and simple.  It’s not cool to be cluttered all the time so that will come in handy.  On “buttoned” BlackBerry devices, you’ll be able to push the space bar to bring up all your apps again which is cool.  Storm users can just tap the screen to do so (lucky).  The Keen theme goes for only $6.99.

The Simpsons are back again on your BlackBerry but this time in Itchy and Scratchy Land. Play as Homer, Bart, Lisa and Marge as they survive Explosion Land, Unnecessary Surgery Land, Torture Land and Searing Gas Pain Land. Kill the Kill ‘bots with Bart’s stink bomb slingshot. Build Bomb ‘bots with Lisa’s Robo-Generator. Blow ‘bots to bits with Marge’s vacuum gun. Life is a thrill ride with The Simpsons.  I haven’t tried this game yet, but wanted to give you all the heads up on it as it is now available from Bplay for only $6.99.

The future of BlackBerry is already exciting as is with a new Pearl 9100 releasing, the Tour 9650, and the Curve 8910 which we keep getting teased about in picture.  Now we see leaked details on the all new BIS 3.0.  Previously in other updates, some of you weren’t satisfied with what was put out as it didn’t affect you much.  This time, I strongly believe a lot of you will be much happier.  For starters, WMA files are now supported.  Yes, that’s Windows Media Audio.  For a while now, it’s been quite annoying to only have MP3 (and a few other types) support but no WMA.  As most of you know, OpenOffice documents have a different file extension than Microsoft Office.  For that reason, OpenOffice files will be supported with the update as well.  The Gmail Plugin is also expected to be improved in BIS 3.0 which is expected to launch March 2010.

CES 2010 seems like a blast in the past now as the event is over and done with.  It looks like Case-Mate had one of their Fuel Lite cases on a BlackBerry Curve 8910, and no one seemed to notice until now!  One of the moderators over at CrackBerry discovered this image on his camera now after cleaning out photos. At a glance, it was mistaken for the BlackBerry Bold 9700, but in all reality, this is definitely the Curve 8910 as we saw its leaked image. For those who don’t know and didn’t see the leaked specs of the 8910 we put out a couple weeks ago, it will be equipped with EDGE (evolved EDGE perhaps) with built in GPS and WiFi along with a 3.2MP camera.

We’ve been following Xobni for about a year now, getting very excited for its launch.  At CES this year, we were teased with the app as we saw it featured via PC and on the BlackBerry.  Kyle from BlackBerry Cool spotted a blog post where someone from Xobni said they expect to launch their product by the end of February.  So it’s not as far as we thought it would be as we didn’t get a straight forward answer as CES this year.

Transferring multimedia items such as pictures, music, and videos can get really inconvenient over Bluetooth or card readers even.  With the large amounts of media we have on our BlackBerry smartphones today, we need more productive methods of transferring them.  WiFi Media Backup for BlackBerry allows you to literally backup all media files on your BlackBerry to a computer via WiFi.

Features:

  • Files transferred locally over wifi – so no data charges and super fast uploads.
  • Works for all files on your Blackberry: on SD Card or internal Blackberry memory.
  • Animated UI to see waiting transfers and transfer progress in real time.
  • Use the send option to send any file directly to your PC: great for quick BlackBerry->PC file transfers.
  • Inbuilt file explorer: delete, rename or select any file on your Blackberry (internal memory and SD Card).
  • Install our free Media Server on multiple PCs on different WiFi networks.
