Over the past week, we’ve been following ESCAPE for BlackBerry by our favorite game makers IUGO.  After seeing Cliffed and Zombie Attack release two weeks ago, we were excited to see any new games released by the same company.  So the wait is over, and ESCAPE is now available at the PocketBerry Store for only $3.99.  On a really bright note, we’re happy to see that this game is a lot lighter on memory than the previous ones as it come to right under 1MB.

Features:

  • Endless levels and gameplay
  • 3 difficulty levels for replayability
  • Simple controls for all ages
  • Minimalist graphics for maximum appeal
  • Unique cerebral game play complimented by relaxing audio and visual effects
  • Surprisingly addictive!

[...] One thing I love about my iPad besides web browsing, eBooks, and Netflix is Angry Birds.  Not all games, but in specific Angry Birds.  It’s a very addictive game that was exclusively for the iPhone and iPad but the latest from the wire suggests that the game is coming in beta to Android soon.  So maybe not all BlackBerry smartphones can handle a game like Angry Birds, but I strongly believe the Storm 2 (whatever Storm is coming next also) and the BlackBerry Torch 9800 would handle it well obviously for the touch screen luxury.  I think the demand for it is quite high as Kevin suggested it as a game BlackBerry users wish they had and there have been mentions of whether or not a BlackBerry version should come.  It isn’t a rare occasion either to see iPhone games come to BlackBerry as it happened already several times in the past with games including Zombie Attack, Cliffed, and Escape.
