Last year we saw bits and pieces of the BlackBerry Application Suite for Windows Mobile and were amazed by it.  We never got a chance to see anything else after that happen with the new service after that.  A few days ago, we saw a Nokia smartphone running  a Pearl Flip OS and by luck we see some Windows Mobile action today with BlackBerry capability.  Now you can download the all new BlackBerry Application Suite if you have a Windows Mobile device.  It’s not an official copy so download and install at your own risk.

As tweeted last night on @PocketBerry, I went ahead and downloaded Fun Park Tycoon for BlackBerry and promised to give you guys my input.  In best hopes, you all know about Tycoon games and the game style so we don’t have to get into that.  Fun Park Tycoon allows you to build a whole theme park and maintain every aspect of it.  Feel free to build rides, arcades, benches, ice cream stands and much more.  The thing that pissed me off was that the description of the game is completely wrong and advertises it as a pizzeria management game.  Any way, to get back to the game, it is very addictive.

As promised, we’re announcing the winners for both the Cliffed game by IUGO and the handy application PrivacyStar.  Cliffed was the first game launched by IUGO for the BlackBerry platform which hit really big as the game does very well on the iPhone.  After expanding to the BlackBerry, we had to share the game with you guys as we were following it close, hence a giveaway.  PrivacyStar is really handy as mentioned earlier.  It’s a full blown out call blocking application with tons of options to it.  Traditionally you have to pay for it annually but today at PocketBerry, we’re announcing 5 winners who will win 1-year licenses each.  Hit the jump for the full list of winners.

As many of you know, Verizon BlackBerry smartphones have been optimized to have Bing as the single search engine on the start page via BlackBerry Browser.  This angered many at first and now it has just become a norm.  Of course Google is not fond of the idea, and many seem to think that the new Bing search engine lock hurts Google’s business but it’s still far from it.  So Bing forces itself on a Verizon BlackBerry and Google launches a blown out commercial during the Super Bowl last night amazing many.  Is Bing going to contract with a TV station under the terms that only Bing commercials play and no Google?  They can’t do that of course, but I bet they would if they were given the opportunity.  The main point is that Bing can continue forcing itself on smartphones and other devices and will continue losing respect for it, while Google openly puts its services out their optional in a smoother more respectable manner.  If you’re confused and haven’t seen the commercial, above is the first screenshot of the commercial.  To view the full commercial continue reading.
