What’s going on? First U2 leaves Apple and takes a ride with RIM, and it looks like The Black Eyed Peas are too. We can’t jump to any conclusions, but Ronen from BerryReview discovered that The Black Eyed Peas have their “END World Tour” going which is presented by BlackBerry. The event is being pushed out to select movie theaters says the official posting about it. Sponsoring The Black Eyed Peas could be good for RIM, as U2 was wonders to have, but didn’t reach a large enough crowd. The U2 merge seemed more of an Apple takeaway than anything else. Hit the jump to check out more on the event.

So RIM releases the closed beta of their Twitter client, UberTwitter updates to beta 7, and now TweetGenius is being offered for a 30-day trial. It’s been awhile since we heard anything about TweetGenius other than the fact that it supports OS 5.0 and small bug fixes. TweetGenius is a really nice Twitter client to use on BlackBerry as I use it also in my Twitter application rotations. If you’re not sure, give it a test drive as you have 30 days to make up your mind.

I’m glad this happened quick. Just the other day, I had some of my friends sending me messages over BlackBerry Messenger asking why I haven’t accepted their friend requests. I couldn’t seem to figure out how to manage friends on Foursquare application for BlackBerry, so I was logging into the website each and every time to do so. Kyle from BlackBerry Cool discovered that Foursquare has finally put friend management into their application allowing you to do everything within, never having to log on to the main website again.

Ehab tweeted me earlier, letting me know about Yahoo’s new approach in pushing out the Winter Olympics to your BlackBerry. It looks like Yahoo! is catering to the BlackBerry community this time. Yahoo! has went ahead and launched a mobile site that allows you to follow each and every event in this year’s Winter Olympics. As seen above, the site is split into three easy tabs: Today, Medals, and Sports. On the Today tab, you’ll see all the featured events for the day with all its general specifics. Medals you’ll obviously see who won and received which medals. The last Sports tab allows you to select each and every event so you can follow up with your favorite sport events of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Check out the mobile site for the 2010 Winter Olympics by pointing your BlackBerry Browser to m.yahoo.com/olympics or click here.

Crazy but true story. Ehab (the “Digital Media Consultant” aka video maker and picture taker) and Kal, one of the daily PB editors were at a local Applebee’s where Ehab dropped his BlackBerry Storm 9530 face down in a dish of blue cheese. “I wish it was ranch,” said Ehab as he hates blue cheese and was actually waiting for ranch dressing to go with his boneless buffalo wings. Luckily, he had an OtterBox Defender covering his Storm which saved his life, or the Storm’s life rather. The Storm 9530 OtterBox comes stock with a clear screen cover that is attached to the front faceplate, preventing the blue cheese dip from making its way into the device. Moral of the story? Get an OtterBox!

Before anyone gets too excited, these three games are not played with real money whatsoever. We have live casinos for real gambling, and for that reason, do so accordingly. So here are three games that link to each other in sharing your same user name and money balance as well. Now I love casino games, and enjoy playing them online with real folks, regardless of the money. As soon as I discovered the GT game series, I quickly got addicted as they are indeed lots of fun. All of these are free games to download from the BlackBerry App World.
