Why would I want a 3rd party vendor software to msg people on other platforms when you can just text. Have we forgotten what we still have SMS that works on GSM. They are not worth the data my phone transmits if they don’t have a bb. They need to stop pretending to be us. There are a million different bite-off softwares for iPhone and whatnot, but only one bbm for blackberry that does it all. That’s what makes it unique and awesome.

Aside from my rant on other platforms, with some consideration, the only way I'd use this is if it seamless integrated in to my bb messenger so I wouldn't have to use a separate software to accomplish one thing.

Thats just my opinion though.. I'd love to hear some other ideas

doesnt the iphone and andriod have aim yahoo and google talk? whats the difference?

Because most people dont want to give their numbers out like that..I think it would be cool to have a messenger that you can connect with android & iphone users.I am a bb user.

us don’t say us there is android Iphone symbian…….God thanks I got no BB I never like it…BB made a lot of trouble in my country Indonesia…All the corrupted people that is working in our government is using it to avoid tapping by the intelligence.RIM doesn’t want to help us either… Terrorist are using too… Sorry for that….But I think lucid have to made it for Chinese look a like blackberry to because its starting to invading Asia
