We knew something would be mentioned at CTIA this year about the Twitter for BlackBerry client.  A few months back before it went in private beta, we were thinking that the app would be announced at CTIA, but as we already did have the announcement of it coming, we got a confirmation instead! So March 31st is the day it shall officially go public to everyone as it has been confirmed at CTIA today.  As many of you know (who are following me on Twitter), I haven’t been using Twitter for BlackBerry full time as it still doesn’t seem stable and the lag just kills me.  Ronen from BerryReview suggests adding a Tetris game in to give you something to do while it lags.  I agree.  So hold on to your seats folks because the official Twitter for BlackBerry client is launching at the end of the month with lots of improvements.  Hit the jump to check them out.

  • Overall application speed to be improved
  • User Profile Adding/Editing
  • User created lists support

And for OS 6.0..

  • Twitter Address Book linking
  • Setup Wizard Integration
  • Universal Search

Many are beta testing the application at the moment.  Many others have bootleg copies as it leaked online.  You’ll want this update as it is supposed to be a lot more of a better experience this time. Stay tuned for more as the official Twitter for BlackBerry client launches officially.  Hopefully we won’t be disappointed again and all bugs get fixed.
