Wow. This is something.  A few months back, we let you know about TrueSupplier selling parts for the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 and even the Tour 9650 which came to be quite a shock.  Now we’re seeing that they’re carrying full QWERTY keyboards for the Pearl 9100 which is quite shocking.  Who’s going to type on such tiny keys? Kevin from CrackBerry suggests that this could be for children.  I hope it’s convenient for everyone to be honest, but don’t know what to expect from a device as small as the Pearl.  Would you guys get a QWERTY or SureType Pearl 9100?

This isn’t exactly the latest news here, but here’s an interesting page we came across on the official BlackBerry website all about Law Enforcement Solutions with the mobile device.  There’s lots of useful information here, including quite a few webinars you can register for.  One occurred yesterday called “Fingerprinting In The Field” which covered field fingerprinting, enabling officers to be able to identify criminals and suspects on the spot.  We’d love to see more hands on with what law enforcement applications and services are out there for BlackBerry, but it looks like these aren’t pushed so much out there to the general public.  Next thing you know we’d have apps allowing you to do background checks leaked all over the web!

I’m super excited to see AT&T launch a BlackBerry account that gives me the convenience of not having to deal with logging on to their website for account management.  With AT&T’s latest myWireless Mobile App, I’ll be able to do all my billing via BlackBerry.  Also, I’ll be able to add and remove features easily all through the app without having to call or login on a computer every time.  The other cool feature is being able to see your minutes usage, and overage charges if need be.  Being on an unlimited plan, I won’t need that part!

Supported devices include:

  • BlackBerry® Bold 9700
  • BlackBerry® Bold 9000
  • Blackberry® Curve 8900
  • BlackBerry® Curve 8520
  • BlackBerry® Curve 8320
  • BlackBerry® Curve 8310

I’m still having issues logging in now as it keeps saying “We apologize for the inconvenience but the service is temporarily unavailable.” If any of you have luck logging in and getting it fully functional drop us a line!  Hit the jump for the full press release from AT&T or point your BlackBerry Browser to att.com/mybb to download myWireless Mobile App today.

Yesterday we decided to do another poll on what Twitter clients folks are using on BlackBerry these days.  As we were certain that UberTwitter would remain being first in line as the most popular one, we were more curious as to where Twitter for BlackBerry came in.  Twitter for BlackBerry is RIM’s official Twitter client that launched a few weeks ago as a private beta, then got leaked out in the wild allowing everyone worldwide to get their hands on it.  The last time we ran this poll, Seesmic for BlackBerry came in second and of course UberTwitter first.  It looks like this time around, Seesmic got bumped down to being third, even after their latest update with multiple account suppoer and Ping.fm integration.  Twitter for BlackBerry takes the lead being in second place, but could it ever be first in line?

UPDATE: Sorry folks, we didn’t put up the stats! UberTwitter ranks at 40%, Twitter for BlackBerry at 31%, SocialScope at 19%, Seesmic at 7%, and Other was 4%.

They did it again. What a surprise! T-Mobile continues to be up on top once again when it comes to customer satisfaction.  “We’re very excited to be named the wireless industry’s highest-ranked retail sales and service provider. This achievement further underscores our commitment to providing a great sales and service experience to our customers,” said Paula Lentini, vice president, retail sales and operations, T-Mobile USA. “I am very proud of our frontline employees who deliver customer delight every day and with every interaction.”  From my past experiences, I can’t even beg to differ.  When switching from T-Mobile to AT&T, I saw a huge decline with customer service both in store and over the phone.  Just put a few more towers up in the states and I’d consider going back! Hit the jump for the full press release.

I honestly couldn’t stop thinking about this all new BlackBerry slider that got leaked pictures since last night.  Here are some more pictures of it, looking sexier than ever.  As I see it up close, I’m more firm on it being in the Bold series as it does have similar looks to it. According to BBLeaks, the battery is dead in the unit so we don’t know much about its experience just yet.  Speaking of the battery, it isn’t the same as the Bold 9000 and 9700, as it is a new designed one only 1050mAh unfortunately, but we’ll let it slide for now and see how optimized the device runs.  Is that going to be its final battery? It looks like it so far, but we can always get extended ones if need be.  Hit the jump for more full size images.

Based on the indepth explanation by Kevin over at at CrackBerry, the BlackBerry Slider is not the new Storm 3.  You can certainly check out his article on it as it’s very interesting but we do agree with it not being a Storm.  Let’s face it.  The BlackBerry Storm didn’t do so well or get that great of feedback since its first one launched.  Adding a slider BlackBerry to that family wouldn’t be so bright and definitely wouldn’t attract many folks.
