BlackBerry 9800 Shows Up In UAFProf Document With OS 6.0

We’re getting to see a lot of leakage from RIM themselves via UAFProf documents they have on their own website.  This time it’s for the BlackBerry 9800 (click here for UAFProf doc), which I truly think will be the BlackBerry Talladega aka Slider aka “T” if you will.  Sure there was a lot of talk around about the device being called the 9700a, but there’s always a possibility that theories were wrong and this was always intended to be a 9800.  Perhaps they even changed it.  Either way, the BlackBerry 9800 will be rockin’ OS 6.0 according to the document.  As the resolution is 360 x 480, it’s hard to drift away from the BlackBerry Slider.  OS 6.0 is something we have been dying to see as we did receive some leaked photos in the past, but were later proven to spoofed.

A good point that BBLeaks makes is that the HTML version seems to be stuck in version 4, which doesn’t seem right for OS 6.0.  Where’s the HTML 5 webkit browser?  This could just once again be for a prototype, but even so, I couldn’t imagine them not testing it out with the handy dandy webkit browser.
