WES 2010: Tag Calls, Activities, & Expenses with Momentem for BlackBerry

During our first day around the booths, we came across the Momentem booth and had to stop in to see what the app offered. Personally I was amazed by the demonstration, especially the whole “tagging” feature. So where does this app really kick in for you? If you have bills, a job, or a responsibility in life of any kind, Momentem can help you. You can tag calls right on your BlackBerry and log all your activities in actual real time. Tagging is really simple as all you have to do is press the button to do it. But that’s not all. The app does generate you spreadsheets letting you know about everything going on that has to do with money recovering costs.

Still confused? That’s the general specific aspect of the application. Let’s say you get a call from a coworker, you can type notes all about the call for follow-up or an audit trail. You’ll have an option to request an email to be sent you letting you know about the tagged call record. The great thing about Momentem is that it is really easy to use for everyone. It will pop up after each phone call you make or email sent out via BlackBerry. That way you won’t forget to tag certain calls and emails as it will remind you to do so. When seeing the report, it’ll put everything raw in front of you and actually simplify your monthly phone bill so you can better understand where you divided your minutes and data usage to whom, where, and when. Also, Momentem does turn your phone into a “revenue generator” as the makers of the app like to put it. It can track how much billable time you’ve been using for business calls, emails, and meetings.
