Bla1ze from CrackBerry spotted this great theme (and actually fooled me into thinking he had OS 6.0 when seeing the screenshot) called I Dream of 6.  As we all saw what OS 6.0 is supposed to look like, it dropped many of our jaws.  The wait is over (not at all actually) and you can grab your I Dream of 6 theme which is based on BlackBerry OS 6.0.  I myself am in the process of using this theme as I am a fan of stock, simple themes.  It’s only $4.99 at the PocketBerry Store.  Check it out today.

So far Massachusetts only has an application for the state lottery, but I’m sure we’ll be seeing them come from all other states as well perhaps.  This does NOT give you the winning lotto numbers so please don’t but it for that reason.  It basically generates numbers to write in for the “doubler” lottery games in the state of Massachusetts.

Features:

  • The combinations are filtered from the fundamental tendency.
  • The Lottery Assistant does not rely on historical results.
  • Higher odds compared to the default odds of winning.
  • No need of wireless or wired connections.

Massachusetts Megabucks is only 99 cents over at the PocketBerry Store.  If you’re high up into gambling, control yourself but also consider this cheap app.

Application Updates »

We’re getting a bit fussy with Google in regard to the updates they have been putting out.  They’re pretty much leaving it up to us to find what the new updates have.  Now we’re just being ridiculous.  It’s one of those application updates where small bug fixes are fixed, perhaps a little UI enhancement (doubt it) but either way here’s the latest of the latest with Google Maps.  It’s currently at version 4.0.2 with no change log at all.  If by luck you spot anything new, drop us a line.

This is one of the craziest videos I’ve seen yet.  Happy to see the BlackBerry Bold 9700 play a big role in this domino effect of smartphones.  We have nothing more to say about this but WOW.  Check this video out for yourselves and let us know what you think.

Launch dates are coming soon.  We know all about the Rogers BlackBerry Bold 9700 and have heard some more on the Pearl 9100.  Unfortunately there hasn’t been that much leakage on the BlackBerry Pearl 9100, but we can just wait for the launch.  Let’s rephrase that.  We wanted to see MORE out of the Pearl 9100, then we already have seen.  We had short clips teasing us months back and leaked images of it.

So back to the images, both the white Bold 9700 and red Pearl 9100 are arriving at Rogers retail store locations as dummy phones.  What does this mean? Launch dates are coming soon as we mentioned before.  There’s lots of talk and rumors about May launch dates for quite a few devices, but once again we’re waiting for WES to get confirmed details on all these upcoming devices.

Just in from CrackBerry, it looks like the BlackBerry Bold 9650 is launching stock with 512MB of memory.  It’s a very interesting spec to see added, especially with the WebKit browser and OS 6.0 allegedly around the corner.  Through all the Bold 9650 leaks, we’ve seen 256MB of memory standard, but it looks like RIM is upping it for the official device.  We’re waiting til WES, which is coming up in a few days to see what RIM will be presenting to us about the device.  Will it launch with OS 5.0? 6.0? Our guess is 5.0 with a soon update of OS 6.0.  Why you ask? Based on the May launch date of the Bold 9650, and June launch of OS 6.0, well it’s quite obvious there.  But things change, and this could be one of those.

By lots of emails and requests, it looks like our Berry users would like some Twilight themes.  As we are not theme makers, we do share everything BlackBerry with you, so here’s a Twilight New Moon theme for the BlackBerry Bold 9700.  Special thanks to Cool BlackBerry Themes for putting this one out.

The service isn’t for everyone, nor will it be used frequently by many, but it is a pretty nice convenient service to be having.  RIM, FedEx, and Hilton have joined HP to bring printing on the go alive.  For existing BES customers and public print locations (that are participating), you’ll be able to print right from your BlackBerry.

Sounds complicated and far fetched, but it’s easy in reality.  When in these public printing locations, you’ll be able to print email attachments, documents, pictures and much more.

You can read more in the press release by hitting the jump below.
