During WES last week, we went on a little tour with Mike Kurkup from RIM who pointed out some great booths to visit, and Fixmo was one of the first he brought up.I like to call this one the missing link in BlackBerry while Fixmo says it “makes your smartphone smarter” which I can’t disagree with either.  Last week at WES, we stopped by their booth to get a better idea on the application as both myself and Mac haven’t personally tried it out until now.  The application has so many components to it including undelete, speed test, forward/reply, battery watch, memory monitor, and more.  Hit the jump for the full list of what Fixmo Tools consists of as well as a link to read more about it and purchase link.

  • Undelete is your phone’s “recycling bin”. You can retrieve deleted email, PIN messages, calendar events, tasks, and memos. Undelete is integrated into the existing message system menus.
  • Flame Retardant helps you save face. It warns if you’re about to: Reply All to a message on which you were BCC’d (Blind Carbon Copied) when you want to reply only to the sender, Use potentially inappropriate content, such as profanities or excessive punctuation and capitalization (which can imply shouting), Add unintended recipients. Flame Retardant will ask you to double-check your recipient list based on the domains you’re sending to. Keep clients and friends off of those internal business emails!
  • MeetMe enables you to easily arrange a meeting by automatically selecting available times on your calendar and inserting them into an email.
  • The Speed test application measures the download and upload speeds of your 3G, EDGE and WiFi networks.
  • Silencer watches your calendar and completely silences your smartphone during meetings. You don’t have to remember to turn it on or off. For impromptu events, there’s Quick Silence. (The movie theatre will thank you.)
  • Forward/Reply with Edit lets you edit the original message when you reply or forward it. Like Undelete, this essential utility integrates seamlessly into the existing BlackBerry e-mail menus.
  • Battery Watch is your early warning system. It monitors power usage and warns you when your battery reaches low levels. Detailed statistics estimate how much talk, browsing, standby and other app time you have left so you don’t run out at a bad time.
  • Memory Monitor is your phone’s “check up”. It tracks detailed memory stats and gives you an insight into your phone’s performance across both RAM and Device Memory.
  • Call Indicator Call Indicator allows you to set a different LED color for calls so you can differentiate them from other messages. Handy for when your profile is set to silent mode.
  • OneLastCall enables you to turn on your radio even when your battery level is very low.

Fixmo Tools is $19.99 to purchase but is now on sale for only $9.99 until May 4th.
