With the launch of the device right around the corner, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 continues to get OS leaks on the web.  This one’s OS 5.0.0.692 coming from Sprint, but as you all know it isn’t official.  It’s the highest OS out so far for the 9650 so we don’t know exactly if this will be the one coming out of box or not yet.  As this is unofficial, download and install at your own risk, assuming you’re one of those lucky folks who have a Bold 9650 in hand.

We just got the word from Inside BlackBerry that the world’s largest BlackBerry will be up on display on Beaubourg Esplande in Paris, France.  The BlackBerry will be broadcasting messages and pictures sent in from the message creator app currently available on the Facebook fan page for BlackBerry France.  To broadcast your message on the big BlackBerry between May 20th-22nd, follow the steps below:

• Select a wallpaper, and use the text tool to craft a message that tells everyone what you love to do. It’s nice to see carriers officially announcing the BlackBerry Pearl 3G, which seems to be attracting the majority of BlackBerry users at the moment.  Sure there are those in favor of QWERTY only, but there’s a whole other fan-base of SureType lovers who had no choice but to go to QWERTY due to RIM’s lack of releasing a new device with it.  Next in line is Telstra out in Australia.  They have officially announced the BlackBerry Pearl 3G coming soon, and you can sign up to be notified when it is available.

This new version came out while we were busy at WES, and discreetly came out too as no one else really noticed.  It’s not a big release, but the overall performance of the application has been enhanced.  Based on current users’ opinions, the application is a lot less buggy and isn’t getting anymore of those “uncaught exception” errors.  Something I noticed which wasn’t in their change log is the homescreen icon.  It looks like they have made it larger now, making it go well side by side with other apps.  If you recall before, the icon was way too small and just looked odd.  Any way, that’s all from Pinwall so far.  Whether you have Pinwall or not, just point your BlackBerry Browser to getpinwall.com to get the latest updated version.
