A few weeks ago, we let you know about Starbucks putting out free WiFi in all of their United States locations. As time went by and it’s right around the corner, Collin let us know that Canada is also getting it as well. Both are set for July 1st (yes, tomorrow) to launch in all locations. So if you have a local Starbucks near you, get over there tomorrow, make a new Starbucks WiFi profile on your BlackBerry, and bring a laptop to connect too while your at it.

If you are currently in the Gulf region, you’ll be able to report oiled beaches and fish kill right from your BlackBerry with Map the Spill. This is in efforts to help prevent oil from ruining natural preserves and pretty much volunteering to help for the bigger cause. With Map the Spill, you’ll be able to record any impacts on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill via BlackBerry. You can capture field notes, pictures, videos, sound clips and share them publicly on mapthespill.org. Hit the link below to download it today free.

Attention all, Photobucket is due for an update. Not a big one at all, looks like some minor bug fixes as it’s gone from 2.0.2 to 2.0.3. No exciting news for it now, but if you haven’t tried out the application yet and are looking to archive some photos you take on your Berry, then make sure you give it a test drive. Use the link below to download Photobucket for BlackBerry, or head over to App World to update your version today.

BlackBerry Celebrities »

I just watched the first episode in season 7 of Entourage and it looks like Ari Gold is still using a BlackBerry. This time it’s two. In the past we’ve seen him always carry two devices and he still is now. Some of his older devices included the 8300 series Curve in red, the 8800, Bold 9000, and even a Palm. In this season it looks like he’s rocking an old school BlackBerry Bold 9000 still along with a Bold 9700. I was afraid to see the iPhone 4 start to show up, but never say never. Good news is that Turtle has left the iPhone and is now a Bold 9700 user. E was always using a BlackBerry, being the superb agent that he is. Johnny Drama was seen using a phone but I couldn’t really tell what it was exactly and Vince hasn’t used a phone yet, but it’s safe to say he’s a BlackBerry user as he’s been seen with one in the past. The image above is an oldie as I couldn’t get a clear snapshot of him in this last season, but if any one does, drop us a line!

- Hidden today area
- Click on time for clock
- Transitions throughout
- No carrier
- Very wallpaper friendy
Blah is available for a handful of devices as you can see. Hit the right link below to download over the air.

It looks like the eBay application for BlackBerry is finally out of beta and is considered a final release. It was always available in the BlackBerry App World so it doesn’t excite folks too much but the good news is that the application is now available for Australia and Europe. For those who haven’t tried this app out yet and do use eBay here and there, give it a shot. What makes it so convenient is that you’re able to search, bid, buy, and check eBay selling and buying activity all through the application which makes it a lot easier than using the native mobile browser.

RIM is getting pretty creative with colors. If there’s anything I’ve noticed, it’s that they love to put different colors on to the 8500 series Curve. Being that this 9300 is based off of the 8500 series, I expect to see them get a bit color frenzy as well. This one’s in a deep dark purple, far more better than Verizon’s BlackBerry Curve 8530 in purple which just stands out so much and looks more like a toy. So Salomondrin came through as he promised on Twitter in regards to some goodies coming up, and this was it. We’ve seen the device live in action before, but it’s always good to see more up close and personal shots along with this new color we haven’t seen yet.

Over the weekend, I noticed that MissChynaGirl posted up some new screenshots of an unreleased private beta Twitter. As I am currently a full time SocialScope user, I haven’t been on the UberTwitter wagon in a long time. The user interface seems to look really cool, and as we aren’t participating in this beta at the moment, Ehab was nice enough to fish out the full update change log for me. Hit the jump to check out the full changes in this build which is expected to launch very soon. By “very soon” it is estimated to be later this week or early next week.
