RIM Encourages Traffic & GPS Apps On Home Page – BlackBerry Traffic App Coming Soon?

I had just installed Flash on my iPad and wanted to see if it worked after rebooting.  So of course I went to BlackBerry.com, to see if the flash animations worked or not.  Thankfully it did, but then I started browsing what RIM was putting up, and I found it funny that they were pushing out GPS and traffic applications, encouraging users to download them.  A couple weeks ago, we saw the first live screenshots of the BlackBerry Traffic application right here as it is currently available in the Beta Zone.  To me it looks like RIM is trying to soak the whole traffic and GPS into BlackBerry users, getting them all prepared for the app.  Do any of you find interest in this new Traffic app?
