Features:
- New wallpaper each day
- Automatic downloading in the background
- Optional random wallpaper download if you don’t like the day’s image
So if you’re looking to get some new wallpaper action going on your BlackBerry, check this application out. Although it’s not a freebie, it’s currently on sale until July 30th for only $2.99

It looks like Driphter has posted up some more hybrids for OS 6.0 once again. Don’t do this, if you don’t know what you’re doing. This is for those curious folks looking to get in on the OS 6.0 hybrids available at the moment. I haven’t tried any of these hybrids before, but we did end up posting them last time by email requests. So download and install at your own risk and please don’t go forward with it if you don’t know what you’re doing.

Bolt Browser is a good alternative to get your web browsing on until RIM officially releases the official Webkit hopefully soon. Ronen from BerryReview posted that they just got a tiny update today, probably just minor bug fixes if that. Point your BlackBerry Browser to boltbrowser.com today to update it.

Miscellaneous Thoughts »

This is just a quick reminder as I have gone through an awful BBM day of spam. I guess we had quite a bit of a break with no spam lately, but today they’re sparking up again as they have in the past. Today’s that I personally received talks about how RIM’s servers are currently full and the only way to solve the problem is to forward that exact message. Also, throughout the day we received quite a few emails with screenshots of the spam so it was pretty wide spread. I’m not going to sit here and explain to you why I think this is false, but instead I am telling you all it is. End of story. Are you a victim of BBM spam? Stop these tragic things from happening by saying NO to spam!
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

We just got an email from Socket Mobile letting us know about some nice new services they’re putting out for BlackBerry. The CHS Series 7 by Socket Mobile brings in barcode scanning in this portable way like you’ve never seen. If you refer to the video, you’ll see how small the scanner is and how it communicates with the BlackBerry Bold 9700. For those still confused, here’s a little excerpt from the press release that will clear some thoughts for you.
The CHS Series 7 brings industrial-class barcode scanning into a lightweight, pocket-sized form factor and is available in 2D and 1D scanning options with either standard or antimicrobial casing, which protects the device against the multiplication and spread of harmful bacteria and microbes and is a popular choice in the healthcare and hospitality industries. Socket provides free SocketScan™ software, which enables the CHS to connect to any BlackBerry smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing easy integration by an IT team or individual users.
