Sccope Shopping App launches in App World – Buy, Compare, Scan Barcodes, & More

We just got the word from RIM that Sccope for BlackBerry is now officially available. For those unaware Sccope is a consumer shopping network which is now available on BlackBerry in this awesome application. So anything you feel like shopping for online can very much be done through Sccope.

Features:

Sccope allows you to instantly identify the best possible deal from hundreds of top retailers, with comprehensive product searches and barcode scanning. Simply enter the product name in the search bar, browse through the shopping categories or take a photo of the barcode to compare 10 million different price points.
Purchase the product directly, make a wish list, track prices through alerts, and receive special offers and vouchers, all without leaving the application.
And you can create wish lists, share bargains with friends, see price trending info, and get alerts for out-of-stock items.

So my favorite feature? The barcode system. Price grabbing and comparision has never been easier than this. We’ve seen similar applications on other platforms such as the iPhone or any Android device but now it has reached the BlackBerry.
