This is some interesting information.  But let’s quickly walk through what Cellmania is.  Cellmania is a mobile solutions company that works with mobile carriers all over the world.  They provide the world’s largest repository of mobile content amounting in 200,000+ items in over 100 countries.  They provide different types of media including ringtones, java content, and videos.  The main purpose was transferring media over the air (OTA) to mobiles. So what is RIM looking to accomplish wit this acquisition?  It looks like RIM is looking to give BlackBerry App World an even better kickstart by adding fresh and newer content to it.  Head over to Cellmania to view the new partnership banner.
