This could be handy for some, but for me I like everything locked when my BlackBerry is. For those who want to be able to make outgoing phone calls when your BlackBerry is locked, here’s a step by step guide:
BlackBerry Device Software 4.0
- On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options.
- Click Security Options.
- Change Allow Outgoing Calls While Locked to Yes.
BlackBerry Device Software 4.1 to 4.5
- On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options.
- Click Security Options.
- Click General Settings.
- Change Allow Outgoing Calls While Locked to Yes.
BlackBerry Device Software 4.6 to 5.0
- On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options.
- Click Password
- Change Allow Outgoing Calls While Locked to Yes.
