It’s way too silly to see the price of the BlackBerry Bold 9780 high up in the thousands. I could understand a pre-released evolutionary product line from RIM that’s unlike anything we’ve seen before. In the end of the day, this is just a Bold 9700 with a better camera and doubled up memory. Not that it’s so bad, but let’s not hype it up more than it is. So here’s a Bold 9780 spotted right on eBay for $1,200. Seller says it is completely brand new and never used with the latest OS available on it.

The Google Mobile application has officially been updated to v3.8.22. Unfortunately, Google doesn’t like putting out change logs much unless there’s breaking new features. We’ll go ahead and assume this one’s a bug fix. As always, buzz us in if you find any changes.

We were hearing all sorts of buzz about a Canadian delay over the last few days and it looks like they’re true so far, partially. It looks like Bell has put up an October 1st launch date now, rather than the speculated and originally confirmed September 24th that we all expected. It could of been worse – who remembers the BlackBerry Bold 9000 launching in the United States? Pricing for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 is $199.95 on a 3 year strings attached contract while it’s $599.95 with no contract at all.

Sorry guys but it’s just a joke. Should of save it for April Fools. The Business Insider posted this up just for comic relief and we couldn’t pass up sharing it with you guys. It would be pretty darn exciting to have Angry Birds for BlackBerry. The idea doesn’t seem so far fetched, but you’ll definitely need a touch screen BlackBerry if the time ever comes in my opinion. We ran a little poll a few weeks ago asking readers if they would like to see Angry Birds come to life for BlackBerry, and about 72% of the voters said yes while 3.5% said no, 18.6% don’t game on BlackBerry, and 5.81% did not know what Angry Birds was. Maybe the game creators will cater it out if the hype for it continues to grow.

It looks like accessories for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 are rolling out November 15th for T-Mobile according to this catalog. So is it safe to say that the device will be launching the same month? I think so. Either way it’s great news knowing that T-Mobile is getting the Bold 9780. What is to come of the 9700? Will it become an end of life device or stick around for a bit longer? We don’t know but it raised some debate yesterday in our poll as it was pretty 50/50 between the folks who said the device should stay and should not stay around.

The real name of the game is “Findem” but I caleld it Find the Difference so you all would know what I’m talking about. There are two available: Lego Starwars and The Simpsons edition, where you have to spot the 5 differences between both pictures. I play this games a lot on the iPad (WTD it’s called fyi) and figured BlackBerry needed something for that as well. The description is a bit unclear though and I’m not sure how many levels there are, but I do know there is 5 differences in “each.”
This game only works with touch screen BlackBerry smartphones – Sorry fellow Curve and Bold users.
