Here’s another video that broke loose out in Vietnam of the BlackBerry Bold 9780. As the video is obviously not in English, you still get a nice ten minute walkthrough of the device along with the OS. Of course we see BlackBerry 6 OS demoed here on the 9780, which we saw first hand finally this past weekend on the BlackBerry Bold 9650. There hasn’t been much of any “HD” videos or pictures with the Bold 9780, so we’re glad to see it in fresh color and quality here. Hit the jump to view the full video of the BlackBerry Bold 9780.

We’ve been waiting to get our hands on the BlackBerry Curve 9330, to see how much better it is than the previous BlackBerry Curve 8530. So this morning we got a unit in and of course we’re jumping right into hands on experiences and reviews. Over the last few days, we got a little buzz on the email from users asking what the big differences are between the two devices and I strongly believe many others are wondering as well. So we’re going to get into it more like a comparison to the 8530 and how it has evolved from it since that’s what many want to see. My first impressions on the device are going to be with the out of box OS which of course is 5.0. We’ll round more up later with BlackBerry 6 so don’t worry folks! In any case, we just got the device and as we always do, we’ll be giving you the first impressions. For a basic Berry, so far so good. I’m liking it and will be using it over the next few days full time. Hit the jump for thoughts on the look and feel.

Well, it looks like some videos have surfaced for the BlackBerry Style 9670. Just as a quick recap for those who haven’t been following along, the Style 9670 is RIM’s new flip phone BlackBerry featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, trackpad, and BlackBerry 6 OS. It’s built up a lot of hate over the last few months, but personally I’m starting to like it a bit and may just give it a chance. We’ll have to wait and see. So there’s two videos for this you can view after the jump – one hardware oriented, and the other more into BlackBerry 6.

I’m loving it. We just got the word from RIM that Meebo for BlackBerry is now in open beta and free to the general public. You can pick it up by heading over to meebo.com/blackberry and entering your email to have an OTA link sent directly to your BlackBerry. It currently supports touchscreen and non touchscreen BlackBerry smartphones, so that’s a plus (yes, Torch support). For those unaware, Meebo is an all in one instant messenger including Google Talk, AIM, Yahoo!, Windows Live, and more. There’s a wide variety of all in one messengers available for BlackBerry at the moment, but meebo is free and as you can see by some of the screenshots, the UI is really nice and easy to use.

It looks like this is the first BlackBerry Storm 3 image to surface. As far as the specs go, we know that it’s getting 8GB of internal memory along with a 1GHz processor and will act as a WiFi hotspot. This is the first time we see the device live and it looks quite exciting. The rumors at first said that it would look the same as the Storm 2 and just be a refresh but it looks like the device has gone through some changes and looks “rounder.” What do you guys think?
OS Updates »

Here’s the latest 6.0 OS for the BlackBerry Torch 9800. As it is still fresh and we haven’t tested it yet, we don’t know what it brings, but I’m sure it’s a lot better than the buggy OS that came with your Torch to begin with (sorry AT&T & RIM, but it really stinks). In any case, download and install at your own risk as this is leaked and unofficial at the moment. Below are several download mirros. Cheers.

Well it’s sure a lot better than BlackPad. Even current BlackBerry users frowned upon the name and saw it as a big time copycat name to the Apple iPad. SurfBook isn’t all that great but it’s sure a lot better than BlackPad which is an obvious jab at the iPad. Let’s hope this is for the tablet as we expect to see them roll out sometime in November.
So RIM has filed for the Canadian trademark “SurfBook” according to Tablets Unleashed who have put up this screenshot showing some sort of proof. There is nothing really to read up on the official trademark so it could be for anything. BlackBerry SurfBook does sound like it should be a tablet, unless RIM is hitting up the netbook industry now.

For those looking for a more hands on tease on the new BlackBerry Bold 9780 running BlackBerry 6 OS, you can grab the simulator online to play around with. Over the weekend we saw 6.0 hit the streets with the Bold 9650, and we had tons of fun seeing that OS operate on a non-touchscreen device. The Bold 9780 as you all know comes fresh out the box with it preloaded requiring no upgrade. T-Mobile is set to get the device before the end of the year so far with no confirmation on AT&T or any other carriers just yet.
Back to the simulator, you can select a mirror below to download.

So everyone wants to know when it’s releasing and there remains no answer still. With this news, we can only assume that a leaked OS will surface sometime soon as that’s what usually happens with other devices. We could be seeing it highly confidential also where things get to tight that a leak takes longer than expected.
The version currently being tested is OS 6.0.0.227, as they have allegedly tried 3 other older versions including .80, .131, and .209 which have failed. In any case, the OS is promised for the device so we don’t see T-Mobile deciding to not put it out for its customers.
