So it’s official. Originally we had been rumored on a launch date from T-Mobile but it looks like T-Mobile has gone off today right after RIM in making the big announcement of a BlackBerry Bold 9780 coming their way. The date is set for November 17th. So now that it’s official and launching soon we should be seeing 6.0 leaks for the 9700 right? Who’s grabbing a Bold 9780?

It’s a bit of a slow day in the BlackBerry world so we decided to put out a free theme some of you guys might want to check out. We haven’t been putting much of them lately but here’s a nice one that in my opinion is actually worthy of downloading. This one is a Ubuntu theme based on the Linux operating system most of you are familiar with. I’m liking the icons along with their placements and all the widget looking indicators on the homescreen as seen above.
Click the link below to download over the air or go to the theme developers page for more screenshots. It is currently compatible with the Bold 9650, Bold 9700 and Curve 8900.

OtterBox has been my favorite line of BlackBerry cases for years now. I was excited to see them roll out a Commuter case for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 from the very beginning. Impressively, the design was sleek, fitting the Torch well and still maintaining the whole OtterBox look even though this was a slider BlackBerry unlike any other device we’ve seen before from RIM. Hit the jump for some quick impressions on the BlackBerry Torch 9800 Commuter case.

This was funny. I guess I was waiting to see for Windows Phone 7 themes to surface. I mean we already have Apple iOS and Android themes covered so Windows Phone 7 was bound to be next up. I’m sure we’ll see cleaner ones in the future but this one’s not bad and looks pretty darn accurate. As a new item, it’s on sale 40% off – that’s only $2.99 to purchase.

BuzzMe Premium by BigTinCan is today’s application Deal of the Day special. We haven’t heard much of this application lately, so it’s good to get a spotlight at these other applications that control your LED light on the BlackBerry. BuzzMe is another alternative to the other apps you’ve seen out there that control what color blinks when this person calls or when receiving email, texts, BBMs, etc. I don’t really indulge in these applications but I guess it’s a matter of what UI works best for you here. Hit the link below for more information, or to purchase it for $2.49 today only.

Here’s a video based on what we saw yesterday, but a little bit longer. Here we get to see more multitasking action which is definitely eye catching and definitely seems to be a huge advantage over other tablets available on the market. Then of course we see the same YouTube demo that we saw yesterday where embedded media is supported. So far so good. The BlackBerry PlayBook is not officially out yet and I’m sure things will continue to be perfected until we see it out on the market.
