Last week we ran a poll on the BlackBerry PlayBook to see which one you would get – the 16GB or 32GB.  We didn’t see anything on a 64GB before and all the ones displayed at DEVCON 2010 were 16′s and 32′s.  Today a video released out where RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie explains the PlayBook and displays specs which shows a 64GB model as an option.  So there you have it, a 64GB PlayBook at your service.

These devices are not all even when you break it down.  But they all do have the same amount of memory rockin’ 512MB and come out of the box with BlackBerry 6.  The BlackBerry Bold 9780 has not been released yet, but we already know what it is.  So it comes down to the three: The BlackBerry Style 9670, BlackBerry Torch 9800, or BlackBerry Bold 9780.  Which is suits you best?

We haven’t mentioned these here at PocketBerry before so some of you may not be familiar with what “LiveScreen” is.  LiveScreen by DreamTheme takes BlackBerry themes to the next level.  Forget icon replacements, skins, with crazy effects.  LiveScreen gives you a whole new platform, making you feel like you are on a new OS with new icons, and different menus like you’ve never seen.  Look at it like an application that works live instead of your home screen.  All BlackBerry functions can be done from it and yes there is application customization.

Any way, Velvet2, one of the famous LiveScreen themes is one of the Deal of the Day offers for day.  Save 50% on it by purchasing a copy at the PocketBerry Store today only.

Well, it is a Sprint exclusive device – in the United States.  Just like the BlackBerry Torch 9800 took over in the US on AT&T, Sprint has the same with the Style 9670.  According to IntoMobile, TELUS is expected to launch the BlackBerry Style 9670 as well so it doesn’t breach the whole Sprint exclusivity in the US obviously since TELUS is in Canada.

There’s nothing listed online yet on a TELUS BlackBerry Style 9670 yet, but you can keep checking it out on their device line-up page.

On the BlackBerry demos page, they have added “BlackBerry 101″ for the BlackBerry Style 9670 which has been officially announced by RIM and Sprint earlier this morning.  If you want to get more familiar with the device whether or not you have interest in buying it, it’s worth a peak.

Some of you may have seen this surface over at the BlackBerry Beta Zone, but for those who have nothing in that department, you can certainly pick up this leak floating around online.  This is BlackBerry Desktop Manager v2.0.0.46 for Mac leaked online.  It doesn’t seem to be the final release but this version does operate smooth with no bugs so far that I have noticed.  Hit the link below to download your own copy today, while the link still works.

Thanks for sending this one in @ock !

Somebody over at RIM made a mistake earlier today, and it looks like it has been resolved already and the links are down.  Earlier this morning, the BlackBerry Bold 9780 had a tutorial link on the Bold 9700 support page.  Just a common human error folks, but it was picked up pretty darn quick.  The anticipated BlackBerry Bold 9780 is expected to hit the streets before the holidays for a few carriers, one being T-Mobile in the United States, but we wait and see what is to come for now.

I’m starting to slowly like this device more and more.  How about you guys?  The BlackBerry Style 9670 does have a flip phone form factor, but I think that’s not so bad, and the external screen appears to be pretty cool and useful.  In any case, here’s the full official introduction promo video for the BlackBerry Style 9670.

  • 512 MB Flash, microSDHC memory card slot (up to 32 GB)
  • BlackBerry App World pre-loaded
  • BlackBerry 6
  • Graphical, context-sensitive pop-up menus and crisp visuals
  • A robust WebKit browser for efficient browsing with support for tabbed browsing
  • Redesigned core apps and new apps for downloading podcasts, watching YouTube videos, and integrating RSS and social networking feeds
