Cast your votes in folks! BlackBerry OS is always getting leaked left and right on the web and there’s a lot of people out there who don’t mess with the updating.  On the other hand, there’s a whole other population that messes with leaked and hybrid OS builds and end up using them.  What do you use?

By the way, for hybrid OS users please vote “leaked” – Thanks.

We’ve already been playing the beta for a couple weeks now and now it looks like the final release is launching.  We got the word from Magmic Games that Texas Hold’em King LIVE v1.0 is officially launching on November 8th.  So what does that mean to you? All bankrolls, achievements, and player stats will be reset.  New features in v1.0 include:

  • Buy Chips Store – Our “Buy Chips” store is finally enabled! Purchase chips to stay in the action, or to move up the ranks!
  • Bug Fixes, UI Tweaks and Slick Animations – We’ve squashed quite a few number of bugs, added some new animations and tweaked our UI to make it even easier to use.
  • Pretzil Integration – You can now login to Pretzil via the Profile page. Then you can select the Pretzil Avatar and it will automatically download your Pretzil.com Avatar! Earn Pretzil Points for playing THK Live!
  • Help / In-Game FAQ – We’ve added a short in-game FAQ with a link to our Technical Support should you have an issue, check here first.
  • Tournaments – Are coming soon! Check out our tournaments which are coming this year!

Stay tuned this Monday for Texas Hold’em King LIVE to officially get out of beta into version 1.0.  If you haven’t tried the game yet, you can pick it up for free at App World.  If you already downloaded it, you should be prompted this Monday to update to the next version.

I’m not going to say much about this, but I hope none of you get offended by us posting this one up.  I came across a game recently approved in the PocketBerry Store called Bad Manga Girls 3.  This is the official description word for word:

Seduce the hot Bad Manga Girls of the “Horny Hog” Farm! Help out these cute babes with their daily duties and experience wild orgies, canny dialogues and rough sex – nothing is off-limits! On this farm you can have it any time, anywhere!

So we pretty much have a sex game out and about for BlackBerry, and it’s like RPG style in my opinion where you go place to place picking certain phrases and “performing” actions chosen by you.

You can check out Bad Manga Girls 3 for BlackBerry yourselves at the PocketBerry Store and make your judgments.  It’s actually on sale too, so what the heck -

One of the most addictive and fun games has just gone on sale today as a Deal of the Day special in the games section of our application store.  IUGO is famous for other games including Cliffed and Escape which is available on other platforms including iOS and Android.  This one’s Zombie Attack! Bad Blood where you have to defend your shack from zombies trying to destroy it by installing various gun turrets around.  Some features include:

  • Different zombie types to slay
  • 4 weapon types for a variety of zombie killing techniques
  • Survivor machete: hack and slash the undead when needed
  • Stylized 3D graphics
  • Local leaderboards
  • Intuitive controls, elegant UI
  • Pick up and play for 2 minutes or 2 hours

Today the game is 50% off where you’ll dish out only $2.49 for it.  If you’re looking for some good games to play on your BlackBerry this is definitely high up there.  The file size is quite large as I last remember it being about 5MB, but it is well worth it and most of you should have some extra memory to spare.

As much as RIM is getting into the regular everyday consumer market, they are still maintaining business end of the BlackBerry by continuing to release innovative services.  Today they have announced free BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express for IBM Lotus Domino.

You can check out more on BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express for IBM Lotus Domino as of today, or hit the jump for the full press release from RIM.

I always thought this was a missing link in all these new BlackBerry models we see nowadays with trackpads.  There was never any light light illuminating around the trackpad ever as it just looked like a dead zone filled with black in between the send and end buttons.  Now on the BlackBerry Style 9670, I see that a light is very visible all around the edges of the trackpad.  Wicked.

At DEVCON this year, there was lots of buzz from theme builders as to whether or not you could theme the BlackBerry PlayBook or not.  Just as we were wondering for BlackBerry 6, we wanted to see how deep that could go as well.  Today we get an answer.

Straight from the webcast today, the subject on themes was touched upon where RIM says there is no theme builder in place for the BlackBerry PlayBook.  However, if enough of you holler out about it and interest grows high, RIM shall provide a theme builder, but don’t expect to see anything at the launch date of the device.

Thanks @randomoniem !

We had a bunch of leaked operating systems release out in the open yesterday, and now we get some BlackBerry Torch leakage.  This is OS 6.0.0.377 for the BlackBerry Torch 9800.  So far all the builds leaked for the Torch have helped and made the device run smoother.  We’re still not at where we wanted to be with it but hopefully this one is a lot more stable and makes everything swipe a lot faster.

We’ve been pushing out ZAGG products here for a long time.  Many of you aren’t familiar with the name ZAGG, but then rings a bell when Invisible Shield, one of their most popular and innovative products is mentioned.  So we just got an email letting us know about a promotion they’ve got going.

When you make a purchase of $40 or more through their website, you’ll get a can of ZAGGfoam for free.  For those unaware ZAGGfoam is a spray in can form that is used to clean your gadgets without harming or damaging them in any way.  So if you were planning on buying a few things from ZAGG, now’s a good time to!

This is just a quick crop from an image over at C-Section Comics bashing at mobile users where its obvious that BlackBerry got it worse here over Android and iPhone as well.  Even so, I found it funny, and true to some extent.  I guess we are sort of in the stone age when it comes to games, entertainment, and high end graphics on the mobile which seems to be a huge advantage to other platforms. What do you guys think of this – as BlackBerry or non-BlackBerry users even?
