I guess that pretty much sums it all up.  Write your email now, have it sent later.  Antair DelayedSend lets you do just that.  So initially you creat the email message, then can delay the send byt scheduling it to a certain day in time (in the future not the past of course).

Features:

  • Integrates with the BlackBerry email application.
  • Create your email and schedule it for delivery at any point in the future.

Antair DelayedSend is free to download at the PocketBerry Store.

This game is pretty much spread out to other platforms – maybe not the same title, but the same idea of the game at least.  Office Hot Shot is a cool game where you have to throw crumbled paper in a waste bin with wind patterns consistently changing.  With that said, you have to angle your throw sometimes to make the crumbled paper make it into the waste bin.  Aside from all of this, you can use Office Hot Shot as your lock screen where you have to make it in the basket before your device unlocks.  Features include:

  • Use as a locking app, or use just for the game, or both!
  • Master switch to enable/disable locking functionality.
  • Optional password to unlock your BlackBerry.
  • Optional password reminder, in case you forget your unlock password.
  • Available for both touchscreen and trackball/trackpad devices.
  • Designed for minimal impact on battery life.
  • Works in landscape or portrait mode.

As a Deal of the Day special, Office Hot Shot is only $1.49 to purchase, saving you 50% instantly.

Here’s an image of what looks like another lucky somebody with a BlackBerry PlayBook in hand.  What I noticed is that the device (for me at least) seems to be small enough to type away using your thumbs and perhaps don’t need to use it as you would with an iPad where I find it to be a little awkward.  On the iPad you try using the keyboard as you would on a regular full size computer but it just doesn’t work right. I find myself using my pointer fingers to type which slows me down a lot.

The BlackBerry PlayBook with a 7 inch screen which is a perfect size for me will call for typing to be a lot easier.  As you can see how the gentleman is holding it, thumb typing seems to be very appropriate for it.  Maybe I won’t lose my maximum words per minute using the tablet after all.

A few months ago, I went to a Black Eyed Peas concert, where will.i.am’s BBM pin was passed around.  You could BBM him during the end of the show where he would freestyle BBMs sent to him.  On a large screen, all the BBMs sent to him are displayed for the crowd to see as well.  I finally was able to find a video where he does the freestyle – but at another concert other than the one I attended.

It’s no secret that will.i.am is fond of BlackBerry smartphones.  Just the other day we saw him rockin’ the all new BlackBerry PlayBook tablet in the music video for “The Time.”

It’s not going to end any time soon.  BlackBerry Messenger really is the new thing to chant about in music.  Here’s a new one called BBM Me Up by Riley.  It’s a YouTube clip, but unfortunately no music video – just audio.  What’s your favorite BBM song?

This is the application the keeps your “private life, private” as the description suggests.  We’ve posted about BlackBook several times as it has dropped in price a few times as a promotion and recently updated to version 3.0 adding a bunch of new features.  BlackBook is great for those leading a secret life and don’t want certain contacts and messages to be seen publicly by anyone, keeping it private.

As a Black Friday deal, you can save 60% when you purchase BlackBook, bringing it down to only $2.

To start off the day, we’re going to put out the first Black Friday deal from the PocketBerry Store.  QuickLaunch is one of my favorite applications to use, especially with my one and only convenience key RIM has provided on the BlackBerry Torch 9800. Today it’s 40% off making it only $2.99 rather than the usual $4.99 to purchase.

A while back Deal or No Deal officially launched on BlackBerry supporting the Curve, Bold, and other popular models.  Of course when BlackBerry 6 rolled out on the BlackBerry Torch, there was no support for the game just yet.  We just got word that Deal or No Deal has launched for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 today officially.  You can grab a copy from the PocketBerry Store for only $3.99.

I don’t get it.  I’m not bashing any rumors here and maybe I am wrong, but isn’t the smallest storage sized PlayBook supposed to be 16GB?  The screenshot above is from a presentation put on by Jim Balsillie (which I’m sure many of you do recall seeing) in the Middle East where he presents the BlackBerry PlayBook and officially announces some specs.

Just yesterday, some rumored pricing got leaked out, but I was shocked to see that 8GB was included, but nothing about a 64GB.  That same presentation put on by Balsillie indicated and confirmed that there will be a 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB BlackBerry PlayBook.  Does anyone have an answer?
