According to a Pakistani tech firm Five Rivers, their application, which is a photo editing app is the top premium application in BlackBerry App World.  Five Rivers said its Photo Editor Suite hit the top spot across the board on BlackBerry’s AppWorld store. For some time it hovered in the top 5 category, finally climbing into the number one spot on Sunday.  Of course there are other holiday promotions  at the moment where the top five fluctuates but you’ll see Photo Editor around there.

“This is extremely good news for us and especially for the Pakistani IT industry,” Mahe Zehra Husain, the head of operations and product management at Five Rivers Technology, told AFP according to Yahoo news. “We feel we are on top of the world. This is incredible.”

The Photo Editor Suite allows it’s users to crop, rotate, adjust brightness and color, to manipulate their photos how they would like.

Five Rivers was founded in 2003 and consists of 50 employees. They have worked with several top tier technology firms in both Pakistan and abroad.  It has developed over 100 apps for BlackBerry, iPhone, and other mobile phones since it’s inception.
