Last month we let you know about the BlackBerry Torch 9800 for AT&T brought down to $29.99 with a new contract or upgrade.  We’re just shouting out to you guys now that the special is still live and most likely going til the end of the holiday season.  All three colors are available for this offer: black, white, and red.

According to a tweet that MTS put out earlier this afternoon, they will be launching the BlackBerry Style 9670 this Thursday officially.  I’m surprised to see that so many carriers are actually picking this device up more or so because there was so much negative hype towards it from the very beginning of seeing a flip phone BlackBerry.

In any case, there’s no pricing available yet on the MTS website, but it is imaged there with a “coming soon” banner on it.

I had first seen T-Mobile TV on the Samsung Vibrant and thought it would be pretty sweet if the application reached out to BlackBerry smartphones as well.  T-Mobile TV currently offers FOX Sports, PBS Kids, ABC News Now, and Azteca America as free channels to watch on the go.  According to a tipster over at BerryReview, T-Mobile TV is now supported on both the BlackBerry Bold 9780 and BlackBerry Curve 9300.

I’m wondering if this will work on my white Bold 9700 running 6.0.  I’ll have to give it a try and let you folks know how that goes later – unless of course one of you has done the deed already, drop us a line!  The link below should work as that’s the one the tipster leaked out, so let us know how it goes for you guys.

It looks like iBerry has gone on sale today as the Deal of the Day special in the themes section.  You’ve seen this theme pop up many times here as it is quite popular.  The iBerry theme is pretty much a replica of the iPhone styled home screen and icons (for those who don’t know).  The theme normally goes for $6.99 but as a Deal of the Day special you can grab it for only $1.96.

We just got the word this morning from RIM that Amazon MP3 has officially launched for BlackBerry! With Amazon MP3, you’ll be able to download music over the air via WiFi, and check out what songs are out, record charts, genres, and more.  In the past, we’ve had the 7Digital Music Store which I still find to be a great app, especially since it embeds well with 6.0 in the Universal Search.  Back to Amazon MP3, some features include:

  • Download music via Wi-Fi or over the air (OTA)
  • Browse by what’s new, deals, top songs, top albums, genres, and sub genres
  • Check back every day for the Free Song of the Day and Daily Deal album
  • Preview a 30-second sample before you buy
  • Tell friends about your favorites via BBM, email, SMS, Socials Feeds, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Bookmark a song and come back to it whenever you’re ready for a preview or download.
  • Integrated with BlackBerry smartphone features and functions, including Universal Search and Media Library

Amazon MP3 is available at the BlackBerry App World for free.  Click here to download it today!

Before you all get excited, this application appears to be for Canadians only.  According to MobileSyrup, Budd Phone is launching on December 15th for Android, iPhone, and of course BlackBerry.  I don’t know too much about the application other than the fact that it offers free long distance calling to a whole list of Canadian cities.  Hit the link below for more information on Budd Phone.

I’m not really familiar with this game at all, but I just spotted it as a free game available at the PocketBerry Store.  Last week we had the free A Snake game reach the store, and now we have Durak LITE as the next new freebie.  Here’s the stock description:

Durak is a popular international card game. The object of the game is to get rid of all cards before opponents. At the end of the game, the last player with cards in their hand is referred to as the fool (Durak). Other players are the winners. Game rules are simple but game process is really addictive and will definitely keep you entertained for hours.

If the game interests you, you can head over to the PocketBerry Store to download it free or to check out more screenshots.
