Here we see another video demo by Mike Lazaridis from the Dive Into Mobile conference where there’s more question and answer here. The BlackBerry PlayBook seems to be a really exciting tablet to come to the market, for both the BlackBerry user, and perhaps everyone else who has no faith in RIM products because of what they lack in competition to Android and iOS.

So yesterday we ran a poll to see how you all thought about the infamous “Jim Balsamic” spam message on BBM. It was forwarded around a lot to many folks, and we were really curious to see how many of you actually thought it was real to the point that you forwarded it around.
Unfortunately the results that came in are a bit contradicting. If the message was forwarded so much (which those who forwarded believed the message to be true), then the numbers would of been higher in my opinion for those who voted “yes” to believing it.

Recently, BlackBook updated to version 3.0, adding a bunch of new features. Now it’s today’s Deal of the Day special saving you 20% instantly. I know, we usually see 50% off or higher for applications but you still get to save some here.
BlackBook lets you keep contacts, calls, and messages away from others who spy through your BlackBerry and go places they’re not supposed to. It’s a hidden contact list with messages sent and received in there as well. It’s so secret to the point that you won’t find an icon for it anywhere. To launch the application you have to push a sequence of buttons (that you choose) then the app launches. So if you have contacts and messages you’d like to keep private, definitely check out BlackBook.

So ScoreMobile just updated to version 1.6 adding MMA as a sport along with some other user interface enhancements and bug fixes. I guess there was some sort of permissions issue with the version so a new 1.7 has just rolled out a few moments ago. I didn’t see any problem with my v1.6 yesterday, although I didn’t really use it that deep enough to notice anything.
To update, head over to BlackBerry App World and you should see an update. Otherwise click here to manually download.

We got the word last week from Sound ID that they launched an application which manages your headset’s settings and features. EarPrint required the Sound ID 510 headset which we didn’t have at the time. Now that we got our headset in, we’re able to take a sneak peak at the application and what it does. So for you curious ones out there who just want to see what’s in the EarPrint app, here it is.

So the other day, we got the word that Bell had the delayed launch of the BlackBerry Style 9670 set to December 9th. Well today’s that day as Bell officially launched the Style and has it up on their site. Here’s a recap on the pricing:
- No contract: $399.95
- 1-year: $374.95
- 2-year: $349.95
- 3-year at $49.95
So the best deal I’m seeing here is that 3-year plan, as the device just gets so cheap. But any way, the choice is yours if this is the device you’re going for. The BlackBerry Style 9670 is RIM’s second flip phone style BlackBerry to launch, but the first of its kind to have a full QWERTY keyboard. It comes with a 5MP camera, 512MB of memory, 8GB micro SD card, and rocks BlackBerry 6 OS right out of the box.
