I haven’t tried any of the Bad Manga Girls games, but they’re quite interesting by their descriptions. A new one has just released called Kamasutra Lessons. Here’s the stock description:
Involve sexy Manga Girls in slippery dialogues and seduce them! Prove that you have learned the lessons of Kamasutra and indulge them by every trick in the book! Be smart and use your charme and everything is possible. The sex of your life awaits you!
So you can be the judge on this one. On a bright note, it’s only $1.99 to purchase as a special 50% off price.

We mentioned earlier this week on how there’s so many call blocking applications out there, and here’s another one called iBlocker Pro Call Block. They all pretty much serve the same purpose, and I’ve tried a few of them where I don’t see what makes one better than the other. As a Deal of the Day special, iBlocker Pro is only 99 cents to purchase – today only.

From the official announcement of the BlackBerry PlayBook, we learned that an expected launch time would be first quarter of 2011. Yesterday during the quarterly earnings call yesterday, RIM execs said that they won’t be expecting any revenue from the PlayBook until the company’s fiscal year first quarter – which is March.
So is the PlayBook going to launch in March? Who knows, but that’s the next guess. A January or February launch date does not seem likely at all with the quarterly earning call last night. Just a speculation, no confirmations still of course.

The folks over at BBHybrids spotted a newer version of Facebook and Twitter for BlackBerry in the latest BlackBerry 6 leak for the BlackBerry Bold 9700. So these files were ripped from that same OS file, and made available for an over the air download. I’m not so sure what’s different in these versions, but if you all are curious enough to check them out, we’ve got the download links below. If you spot anything new, drop us a line and we’ll update our post. Enjoy!

As a parent you might want to know what your children are messaging back and forth. Maybe you’re not a parent but just want to snoop around someone else’s messages. TextNANNY allows you to monitor, report, and restrict BlackBerry access. Features include:
- Cross reference words, abbreviations and symbols to urban dictionary, detecting unacceptable text behavior – conversations about drugs, sex, sexting, etc…
- Detailed filtering available to assist parents
- Auto email delivery when rules are broken
- Forward text conversations in real-time based on parental guidelines
- Restrict phone access by time of day, day of week
- Restrict texting during class, or after hours when sleep should be the priority
- Phone call to approved persons always allowed, even though phone/text/email is restricted
As a special promotion of just launching, TextNANNY is only $4.99 where it’s usually $9.99 per license. Keep in mind that BBM isn’t supported and there really is no way around that with this application.

Yesterday was a huge spree of BlackBerry OS launching, both leaked and official. Vodafone DE launched official for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 and BlackBerry Curve 8520 and now the Curve 8900 got the same version. This one’s OS 5.0.0.1036 just as we saw for others yesterday. I’m wondering how far out RIM is going to take OS 5.0 with the updates. In any case, hit the link below to download!

You know the drill by now – we’re always pushing out Druglord Wars 2 once its on sale at the PocketBerry Store. I’m not being biased against other games, but Druglord Wars 2 is definitely one of my favorite games to play on my BlackBerry. Every game nowadays claims itself to be “highly addictive” which kind of ruins its meaning when you really mean it – because Druglord Wars 2 is indeed very addictive.
Grab a copy today for only $1.99, saving you 60% instantly.

It’s not that serious, but I went out last night to finally see Due Date starring Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis. I noticed that Robert Downey Jr. took out his BlackBerry one too many times in the movie. It wasn’t no Torch or Style – but a BlackBerry Bold 9000! It’s not that retro of a device, and it’s definitely counted as one of my favorite BlackBerry devices.
The BlackBerry Bold 9000 was similar in size to the BlackBerry 8800 series and was so comfortable to hold and use. The huge display screen, large keys, and full leather back really made the phone awesome. I just wish RIM would take the Bold family back in that direction instead of shrinking them!
