Tying ties is something I have personally been struggling with for a very long time. I know I’m not the only one who’s resorted to YouTube videos and Google searches to find out how to tie certain styles. There’s a free application in App World called How to Tie a Tie that shows you exactly how to do so. There are different styles to choose from within the application including Atlantic, Diagonal, Half Windsor, and more.

Coleco has launched the 80′s hit classic game Electronic Quarterback on BlackBerry. If you don’t remember this game, you have definitely been missing out. Electronic Quarterback is a pretty straight forward 2D game (yes it’s pixelated) that lets you select pass or run plays. Features include:
- Use the control stick to select pass or run plays.
- Use the arrow keys to control your LED.
- Cross the screen 10 times to score.
- Use the D button to display the score and down information at any time.
- Enjoy the sound effects and button controls just like you remember from when you were a kid!
Electronic Quarterback is only 99 cents to buy at the PocketBerry Store. Click the link below to grab a copy today!

According to this tip given to the guys at N4BB, multiple sources are saying that RIM is currently testing out horizontal keyboards for future BlackBerry devices. Personally, I don’t like it, but that just might be what society demands with all these Android devices out there rocking horizontal keyboards. What do you think? Horizontal keyboards or should RIM stick with portrait style keyboards and sliders?

Not sure if many of you care one this one, but famous news editor Piers Morgan made an appearance this year at CES 2011 at the BlackBerry booth. In this clip we see a brief intro of the gentleman with his small pieces of advice for the community out there. He doesn’t give us much on the PlayBook other than the fact that he likes it and it’s small enough to fit in a pocket. That’s pretty much it. I preferred Common’s BlackBerry freestyling video though

The folks over at BerryGoodThemes launched a nice free theme over the weekend called Flagship. The whole theme is fully customizable so feel free to set any icons you desire on the homescreen. The wallpaper is dark charcoal with flashes of bright orange, as the theme makers have specified. The icon set is brand spankin’ new, which is something you usually don’t see in free themes. The nice thing about the theme is that it’s small in file size. Nice themes nowadays can get into 1MB or higher, where this one is less than 400kb.

So last week, Indonesia authorities gave a deadline to RIM for filtering out pornography on the BlackBerry. It looks like RIM has agreed to do so today – but we didn’t see them rejecting the request anyway. The deadline for this to be done is by Friday January 21st, and RIM has promised to get it done way before that even. So no BlackBerry ban after all!
According to Indonesia, RIM earns about $251 million each year from 3 million active BlackBerry users in the region.
