The code name is Monaco but we’re still referring to it as the BlackBerry Storm 3 until RIM makes some official announcements. Hit the jump for the full specs on the device and more.

So we’ve got Day 3 of the NFL Theme Deal of the Day and today’s goes out to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The theme is animated as you’ve seen with the other NFL themes. All 32 of these themes act and perform the same way – it’s just the teams that are different. Awesome! This has been floating around the web all day, and figured you should all check it out if you haven’t already. Someone clever over at Research in Motion thought it would be a good idea to make rim.jobs a website for jobs and careers over at RIM. What do you think of this site name?
Thanks to everyone who sent this one in!

Ok so to clear up what we have here, there’s two things: BlackBerry Push Service SDK version 1.01 released, and the BlackBerry Push Service updated. Here’s what’s new:
- Subscription Check API: A new server side API has been added, which allows you to check the registration status of devices registered with your application.
- Optimizations and bug fixes: Improvements made to both performance and reliability.
Now for the BlackBerry Push Service SDK v1.0.1, the following has been updated:
- Support for Subscription Check API: Support for the Subscription Check API has been added, so you can take advantage of it through the SDK APIs. A set of sync APIs have also been added to automatically synchronize subscriber status with the SDK database.
- Statistics gathering: Allows you to better track data regarding push operations (such as push count and remaining quota) and SDK operations (such as memory, thread pools, work queues).
- Improved Query Capabilities: This enables simple retrieval of data pertaining to your subscribers and pushes via user-defined criterion.
- Installer Improvements: Command line installation support has been added to the Linux version.

The Curve has become a very introductory device when it comes to BlackBerry. If you already owned one in the past and “upgraded” to Curve, you’d see that a lot was lacking.
Since the BlackBerry Curve 8500 series launched, a camera flash has been vacant. In previous Curve models such as the 8300 and 8900 series, camera flashes were readily available. Then the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 series launched in the same form factor as the 8500 series lacking a camera flash once again. From today’s leaked image and specs of the BlackBerry Apollo, which is the next generation Curve, it seems to not lack as much as we thought it would.

Now here’s something I was waiting to see – a new BlackBerry Torch. I wasn’t expecting to see it happen this soon, but it looks like RIM realizes the Torch is a great form factor but lacks specs including the slow 624MHz processor. BGR received some more leakage on the BlackBerry Torch 2 today which is really exciting. AT&T is going to be up for grabs on this in late Q3 this year, according to the tip. Hit the jump for the full specs on the new BlackBerry Torch 2.
