Ringtone Remix updates – Improved Speed, Finer Wave Tuning, & More!
by Collin Sorp
Ringtone Remix is an application for your BlackBerry that allows you to take bits and pieces of songs you already have downloaded and use them as ringtones. Usually you’d have to use some sort of utility on a computer then send it over to your BlackBerry. Ringtone Remix eliminates those steps and provides a very user friendly interface to get in all the ringtones you want. The application just updated adding the following:
- Significant improvement in speed – eliminating any lag-time when ringtones are played.
- Even more degrees of zoom on the waveform so users can better fine-tune which sections of songs they wish to use as their ringtones
- A new song picker to make it easier to find and select the tune you want to turn into a ringtone.
If there was any complaint I had before, it was tuning. It wasn’t so bad, but just was frustrating as it would jump over more than I wanted to when cropping an audio clip. Now that the wave tuning has better zoom, I’ll be able to choose the exact selection of music I want.
You can grab Ringtone Remix today for only $1.99 as a sale price where it’ll soon bump back up to $2.99.
