BlackBerry Messenger v5.0.2.11 available in Beta Zone

Last night we received a few tips about BlackBerry Messenger v5.0.2.11 hitting the BlackBerry Beta Zone.  Ronen over at BerryReview confirmed some bug fixes below listed in Beta Zone.

  • If you are running BlackBerry® 6.0, a cursor might not have appeared when you scrolled through previous messages in a chat.
  • If you turned on content protection, when you received a new message, you might have seen a “Content protection is enabled” message.
  • If a person invites you to become a contact during a multi-person chat with you, and if you accepted the request, the contact might not have appeared on your contact list.

So there’s not much of any changes in this build, as many figured we’d see some BBM 6 features here, but doesn’t look like it.  I’m ready for that upgrade already, but it looks like it’ll be rolled out with OS 6.1.

For those of you that want to try this one out, head over to Beta Zone to download.
