The official Twitter for BlackBerry got a leak to v1.1.0.13. According to Luis over at BerryReview, it looks like this version gives the inbox a nicer user interface and the home screen icon has been changed from being the plain Twitter “T” logo to the Twitter bird itself. If you guys spot anything else in this leaked version, drop us a line!

Just last night a new BlackBerry Bold 9650 OS leaked, but it’s not a later version than what we’ve seen already. This one’s 6.0.0.443, but we previously had 6.0.0.446 leaked out. Maybe this build is safer to use with less bugs, but you all can be the judge of that.

I guess SocialScope is doing this as a result of yesterday’s UberTwitter ban from Twitter. Yesterday we gave out five free SocialScope invites to our Twitter followers, and today ThugRockstar tweeted about SocialScope being open for invites yesterday. So I went ahead to see if it was SocialScope was still giving out invites instantly and it looks like they are. For all of you who don’t want to use Twitter for BlackBerry or other applications, check it out and you might like it. I’m not sure how long SocialScope will be putting this out for, so do it while “supplies last.”

We knew Verizon would be in line for another BlackBerry, but there has been such a gray area as to what was going on with the Storm for big red. In the leaked video we just posted of the BlackBerry Storm 3 Monaco, we see that the device is Verizon branded right on the back. So we’re past the beginning stages of testing the device and hopefully will see this device hit shelves soon enough.
Anyone impressed by it though? The OS still seemed sluggish and I just don’t get it. I really don’t want it the Storm 3 Monaco come to life at all if this is how the OS is going to perform. What happened to all these enhanced specs we were supposed to see? Our excitement went towards faster processors which called for faster OS movement. Not really seeing it here folks but hoping the final release is better.

All we’ve had so far on the BlackBerry Storm 3 was details on it coming to T-Mobile the other night, and the leaked roadmap for CDMA BlackBerry smartphones coming in 2011. This is the first time we see the BlackBerry Storm 3 in live, as the folks over at T-Mobile only showed the device off in slides (was supposedly the same 3D renders we saw). So let us know what you guys think on this one. I’m not so sure how long this video will remain live, so watch it while it’s here. What’s your reaction to the device? I’m disappointed.

There’s a few apps they have put out now including iTunes Controller, PowerPoint Controller, Psychedeliclock, and Pingstat. All these sample codes are posted up on their site for you developers to mess with and even create your own apps with the inPulse Smartwatch SDK. We’ve seen the condensed Rocketman BlackBerry Torch commercial in the past and now RIM has put out the full 90 second version. The commercial shows how astronauts and workers with NASA use the BlackBerry Torch 9800 in GPS tracking and communicating with one another. Only thing that makes me laugh is when they refer to the Torch as “space-age technology.” I’m only reminded of my slow single core processor when I hear that. Let’s go Torch 2!

Last time around we didn’t see a change log either for Pandor for BlackBerry, but we did notice that it was compatible with Ford SYNC systems. One thing that bothered me was looking in my event log and seeing Ford SYNC errors trying to connect via Bluetooth. This happened on both my Torch and Pearl 3G, so I don’t know if it was a coincidence or if everyone got the same error. I’m hoping that’s been resolved here if it was a known issue to begin with, but other than that we really don’t have any change log. If you spot anything, let us know!

Apple takes the lead in first place here in the IHS Global Mobile Application Store Ranking, but it’s nice to see BlackBerry App World come in second place, still nowhere near touching upon Apple’s numbers, but showing success. In third place we see the Nokia Ovi Store and lastly Google Android Market. Many would expect Android to come in second place, but RIM takes the lead there. BlackBerry App World holds 7.7% of application market share with over $165 million in sales worldwide. Keep in mind that App World currently holds over 20,000 applications, while other stores such as Android’s Market have over 150,000.
