Since this morning’s official announcements on the BlackBerry PlayBook launch, we saw that Best Buy and Future Shop Canada had pre-orders going up, as RIM did mention them.  We received numerous tips about Staples having a pre-order page for the BlackBerry PlayBook as well, which doesn’t seem too surprising considering we saw so much leakage from the company.

The stock description at the pre-order screen reads:

Pre-order your Blackberry Playbook by April 8th, 2011 to reserve one of these limited quantity tablets. Product will ship within 3 business days of receiving it from the vendor. Expected delivery: 1 – 3 business days. Your credit card will be charged at shipment.

I’m just surprised RIM didn’t announce them as having an official pre-order.  No big deal, and it does seem legit.  You can alternatively order via Best Buy or Future Shop if you don’t feel confident here.

Thanks everyone who sent this in!
