We’ve seen Poynt on the BlackBerry PlayBook quite a few times, but most of the screenshots showed some missing features and icons.  Poynt was nice enough to send us out some screenshots of their PlayBook application, which I personally can’t wait to use.  I really wish the spinning reel was still in the PlayBook version as I love spinning it around on my Torch.  Oh well, the app still rocks.  The image above is the home screen which shows to be pretty simple.  Some more tabs appear in the upper right hand corerMore screenshots after the jump!

As you can see above, this is the movies section of Poynt.  You’ll be to se the top ten movies, movies playing nearby, theaters nearby, genres, and then a general search.  We get a lot of this functionality on the mobile application, but it just looks way better on the PlayBook.

When looking up gas stations, you’ll be able to see what their rates are for all of their fuel.  Along with that you can map the address, get directions, add to address book, or share with others.  Information included about the point of interest include what the place offers.  Here we see a gas station that is open 24 hours a day, has service repair, ATM machine, convenience store, safety emission inspection, and snacks, soda, coffee and candy.  We see the phone number listed as well in the upper right hand corner.  That feature gets convenient in the mobile Poynt app where we could dial instantly.  It would be cool to be able to dial from the PlayBook and have it send the call to your BlackBerry through Bridge perhaps?
