I’ll admit I’m a bit disappointed that there are no official IM clients for the BlackBerry PlayBook yet.  I would of loved to see the standard ones we see in BlackBerry smartphones today such as AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, and Google Talk.  There doesn’t seem to be any third party apps for these either and we’re hoping they will roll out soon in App World.

For the time being, how do you get around instant messaging on your PlayBook if any? Are you logging into Gmail on your browser for Gchat?  There’s web instant messengers you can use as well, but apps sometimes feel better.
