Who remembers Earthworm Jim on older consoles like Sega Genesis? The hit game has made its way mobile to BlackBerry now.  Surprisingly the game works really well with no lagging and very easy controls.  I’ve tried it on the BlackBerry Torch which requires you to play in landscape mode with on screen keys.  My only complaint is the sound in the game, as it gets choppy from time to time, but the gameplay itself is good.  I’m hoping they release the sequel to the game too, as long as this one does well.

You can grab Earthworm Jim for BlackBerry from App World for only $1.99.  Most big name games go for 5 bucks or more, so it’s a nice price to see here.  There’s not that many reviews on there yet, but one says it does not work for the Torch.  As I mentioned before, it does work fine for the Torch with no issues.  I tried various apps to take some screenshots of the game, but it keep flickering my camera on even when setting my convenience key to screenshot.
