Humans vs Aliens is the BlackBerry spoofed version which brings us the gameplay that we wanted. You wanted Angry Birds, we got Angry Farm. Actually we’re getting Angry Birds on BlackBerry PlayBook too. Any way, so this one’s Plants vs Zombies in a different form factor right on your BlackBerry smartphone.

It was exciting to see Blaq come to the BlackBerry PlayBook as it is a popular Twitter client for BlackBerry smartphones. Twitter clients have been quite a bummer lately on the PlayBook with no official one from RIM, and a few to cope with in App World. Now Blaq has made its way to BlackBerry App World for PlayBook, so you can really enjoy twitter on your tablet without having to use the mobile site in browser or third party apps with missing functionalities. You can grab it from App World for only $1.99!

BlackBerry Bold 9900 wins in this poll by a lot. There’s been a demand for a Bold style device with a full QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen up top, no sliding required. Here are the full stats from our poll:
- BlackBerry Torch 2 9810 – 21.74%
- BlackBerry Touch 9860 11.96%
Next after the Bold 9900 comes the Torch 2 which 21.74%. After that it’s downhill with the Curve Apollo at a low 4.35%, and Touch 9860 at 11.96%. If you really think about it, those two last place devices really haven’t had much leakage on the web yet, so we haven’t seen it in as much as action as the Torch 2 and Bold 9900. Both those devices gained a lot of spotlight as the Bold 9900 was officially announced at BlackBerry World 2011, and the Torch 2 keeps getting spotted camera, more or so recently on HD photos and video.

To our knowledge the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is the next latest and greatest BlackBerry to come from RIM. This creates some confusion. Now we have a BlackBerry Bold 9790 appearing. This one is branded as a Bold as well so there’s really no mistake as to what it can be. It is suggested that this is pretty much the same size as the Bold 9700 series but thinner. The rumored specs include:
- 8 GB internal memory
- OS 7
- QWERTY / QWERTZ Keyboard
- Touch Screen
- NFC

According to this AT&T roadmap, the BlackBerry Torch 2 9810 will be launching in Q2. Notice that it still says OS 6.1, so it’s not the latest roadmap on the block. With that said, dates can always change, but Q2 does sound nice for the for the launch of the Torch 2.

Matrix Generator for the BlackBerry PlayBook is more of a screensaver than it is an application. Upon launching the app, you’ll see Matrix style coding slide down the screen endlessly. There’s no options or customizations to it at all, just a plain and simple screen saver. You can grab it at BlackBerry App World absolutely free.

The leaks continue. The BlackBerry Curve Apollo has been hiding in the dark a bit as far as leaks go. Originally we were told that the Apollo was going to be announced at BlackBerry World 2011 along with the Bold 9900, but it looks like some delays occurred. Here we see the device up close and personal. A lot of new goodies have been added cosmetically in the Curve Apollo. We see that the 3.5mm headphone jack is now on the top of the device which is pretty much unseen in any BlackBerry devices. The whole top is a lock button, where the mute button has been moved in between the volume up and down keys. There’s a bunch of other cool stuff to check out as well. There’s an image gallery here and we’ll be posting up the video right in a few moments as well. Hit the jump for the full image gallery!
