Poll Results: Do you want native BBM on your BlackBerry PlayBook?
by Collin SorpBased on the small poll we put up a couple days ago, the majority wants native BBM on the BlackBerry PlayBook. Native email is already confirmed, as RIM broke the news out during BlackBerry World 2011. In the end of the day, BlackBerry Bridge is a cool feature to have, and being able to use Bridge Browser anywhere your BlackBerry smartphone has service is pretty awesome. With that said, it would be great as an option, and not so much mandatory to get the real BlackBerry experience.
Many users say that you don’t need Bridge to enjoy the BlackBerry PlayBook which is true to an extent. You can enjoy web browsing, checking your email online (not in an application but on the web too), and enjoy many different applications. But as I mentioned before, to get the real BlackBerry experience you need to have a BlackBerry smartphone bridged to the tablet enabling email, BBM, calendar, memo pad, and more. So with that said, yes BBM has its demand to be native.
