It seems like an obvious operation you can do, but not many really thought about it. How’s it come handy? Well that’s easy. Let’s say you snap a photo with your BlackBerry PlayBook or have a photo saved on it locally and you’d like to set it as your BBM default. Instead of sending it over to your BlackBerry smartphone via email or other methods you have, simply set it directly when connected via BlackBerry Bridge. Here’s the steps:
- Open up BBM on your BlackBerry PlayBook
- Click your name and avatar block up top on your BBM list. You’ll see “My Profile” come up.
- Click your avatar, and then your local image library will appear.
- Select the image you want and you’re done!
